Sudan conflict: what is at stake in the region?

SUDAN - Clashes between Sudan’s military and the country’s main paramilitary force have left at least 56 dead, while control of the presidential palace and the international airport in Khartoum is in doubt after disputed claims from both sides, in fighting that threatens to destabilise Sudan and the wider region. The clashes erupted amid an apparent power struggle between the two main factions of Sudan’s military regime. The Sudanese armed forces are broadly loyal to General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the country’s de facto ruler, while the paramilitaries of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a collection of militia, follow the former warlord General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as Hemedti.

Welcome To The Great Spiritual War Of Our Time

USA - If you’ve been paying even the slightest attention to the rapid decline of the United States in the last three years then you know that what you are witnessing is not just a political battle — not just a cultural conflict between conservatives and liberals if you prefer those terms — but a great spiritual war that now threatens the continued existence of western civilization itself.

Biological Man Pretending to Be a Woman, Issues Violent Threat

USA - A biological male who goes by ‘Tara’ warned his viewers that if he is challenged about using a female restroom, he will become a “dangerous animal.” He also called on trans people to “arm up.” In his message for “anyone who wants to protect their kids,” Tara said, “You back a wild animal into a corner, they’re gonna become a dangerous animal. So if you want to die on that hill of yours, of righteousness and moral majority, then you go right ahead.”

The euro’s biggest shakeup

EUROPE - Policymakers want to shift discussion about a digital euro away from academics and conspiracy theorists. Under a cloak of secrecy in the frozen hinterlands of Lapland, eurozone central bank governors will gather this week to thrash out how to sell a digital upgrade of the euro project to a skeptical public. Not since French President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing floated the idea for a single currency in 1978 has European money faced such a radical shakeup.

UK Interest in New Electric Vehicles Crashes by Two Thirds

UK - UK buyer interest in new electric vehicles (EVs) may be declining, data from the largest car sales website suggests as Tesla boss Elon Musk flags further discounts down the road to try and boost sales. The volume of new EV searches, ad views and messages to retailers on the Auto Trader platform was down nearly two thirds (65 percent) from the beginning of last year to March this year, it reported. Auto Trader attributed this drop to the on-road running cost of electric cars, sticker prices, soaring borrowing rates, more expensive electricity, and a lack of charging infrastructure, all amid a cost of living crisis.

EU: Must Accept Massive Grain and Agriculture Harvest From Ukraine

EUROPE - It was not long ago when MSM headlines were all about how Russia was to blame for starving people around the world as a result of Ukraine farming shortages caused by war. As the narrative was told, specifically as it reflected in massive food inflation, the EU and corporate media said the global grain market was missing the farm output from Ukraine, ergo grain prices skyrocketed; ie Russia bad.

Global Militaries Converge on Sudan as Violence Escalates

SUDAN - As the US begins staging troops for a potential evacuation from Khartoum, Russia seeks to exploit its existing military presence in the war-torn country to achieve Putin’s ambitions. Global military powers are converging on Sudan as violence between warring parties in the embattled African nation escalates dramatically.

You Won’t Be Able To Spend Physical Cash – Bank Of England

UK - Speaking at the Innovate Finance Global Summit on Monday, Sir Jon, the deputy governor of the Bank of England, said that “you won’t be able to spend physical cash in the near future.” Cash is to become “less useable” as shoppers embrace the internet and high street stores increasingly reject bank notes, the deputy governor of the Bank of England has warned.

War Preparations at the Pacific

JAPAN - For the first time ever, the German government will hold German-Japanese government consultations in Tokyo this weekend with a special focus on expanding bilateral combat exercises at the Pacific. Chancellor Olaf Scholz and six ministers, including Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, will meet for talks with their Japanese counterparts tomorrow to intensify cooperation between the two states. This comes at a time when not only Japan is embarking on a massive arms build-up, increasing its military budget by over 50 percent, and is procuring missiles and cruise missiles that can reach China.

No Global Warming For Eight Years

USA - Yet again, the society of climate alarmists tells us we have little time left to address global warming. It’s a sign of desperation. Last month the New York Times published an article that we swear we have read before. “Earth is likely to cross a critical threshold for global warming within the next decade, and nations will need to make an immediate and drastic shift away from fossil fuels to prevent the planet from overheating dangerously beyond that level,” the Times’ climate scribe wrote, citing a “major new report” issued by the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

The Return of Paganism

USA - When a 28-year-old person identifying as transgender shot up a Tennessee school in March, killing three children and three adults, the usual grim afterlife of tragedy was underlined by an odd note: One by one, media outlets rushed to apologize for “misgendering” the shooter, who, they explained, had been born female but had recently begun identifying as male. How to make sense of such a statement? And what to do when a newspaper headline tells you about a “trans woman left sobbing in JFK Airport after TSA agent hit her testicles”?

Debt Ceiling Crash

USA - If you have been following along here on USAW, you all know the real data showing the economy and the US dollar is in real trouble. Now, throw in some politics to cast blame away from the Obama/Biden Administration for tanking the economy and you get some real dangerous wild cards put into the deck. The debt ceiling is headed for a showdown next week, and some people think the Democrats will crash the stock and bond markets when the debt ceiling does not pass. Who knows if this will happen, but the climate is so volatile in Washington DC the possibility is real. Look out and prepare for the worst.

Bay Area is 'overdue' for the 'Big One'

USA - Experts waned the region will soon experience a high-magnitude earthquake before the end of the decade - with the town of Alameda at particular at risk due to its proximity to problematic Hayward Fault, and it being isolated on a for-the-most part manmade island. Experts have warned the Bay Area will experience an earthquake the likes of which have not been seen in decades in the next few years - with one town in particular at risk of collapsing in on itself during the prospective disaster. The city is also located a stone's throw from the Hayward Fault - the primary concern for experts when considering the likelihood of a San Francisco earthquake.

Pope gives King 'relic of True Cross' to mark Coronation

WALES - The Church in Wales described the gift from Pope Francis as “a significant ecumenical gesture”. Inscribed with words from St David’s last sermon, the Cross of Wales was this morning blessed by the Archbishop of Wales, Andrew John, at Holy Trinity Church, Llandudno. The cross was commissioned by King Charles when Prince of Wales to celebrate the centenary of the Church in Wales, with the Goldsmiths’ Company delivering the design and production processes. It is designed and made from recycled silver bullion from the Royal Mint at Llantrisant by master silversmith Michael Lloyd, in consultation with the Royal Collection.

Preacher Ordered Not to Post Bible Verses Offending LGBTQ Crowd

USA - A Tennessee street preacher is challenging an Oklahoma court order threatening him with arrest and potential prison time if, over the next five years, he posts Bible verses condemning homosexuality on social media. Rich Penkoski is the leader of Warriors for Christ, an organization of street preachers that, among other things, attempts to combat the LGBTQ agenda. Its home page, for example, displays a map of the United States indicating “all establishments that have had events that target children for grooming.” One of those establishments is, of all things, a church in Oklahoma, and taking note of it is what has Penkoski in hot water.

“Just what is an APOSTLE?”
Just what is an Apostle?

Today we find the Church of God in a “wilderness of religious confusion!”

The confusion is not merely around the Church – within the religions of the world outside – but WITHIN the very heart of The True Church itself!

Listen to Me, You who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My Law: …I have put My words in your mouth, I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, “you are My people” (Isaiah 51:7,16)
