What Are Endocrine Disruptors?

USA - The most common synthetic chemical offenders are found in pesticides, plastics (by way of the chemical bisphenol A, or BPA), and beauty products (thanks to two types of chemicals: phthalates and parabens). They can show up in the food you eat, the cookware you use, and the products you put on your face, as well as in everyday objects like receipts and plastic bags.

Friday 24th April: Anniversaries of Three Wars of Aggression

GERMANY - This week marks the first bombing waves of the wars of aggression in violation of international law, which have had no consequences for the perpetrators. Today, twenty years ago, US troops launched the invasion of Iraq with the participation of British, Australian and Polish troops. This invasion was legitimized with blatant lies and was to serve strategic power interests, like the assault on Libya, launched by French fighter jets twelve years ago yesterday – invoking initially a resolution of the UN Security Council, which was immediately violated and illegally used to overthrow the Libyan government.

Anger Is Rapidly Growing

LEBANON - We are in the early stages of a global economic collapse, and people all over the globe are getting extremely angry. Here in the United States, higher prices are an inconvenience, but in other parts of the world higher prices can mean the difference between feeding your family or not. And once people get to a point where they cannot even survive on the incomes that they are bringing in, they can become very unpredictable and very violent. For example, a large economic protest that just happened in Lebanon quickly descended into violence as protesters aggressively clashed with government security forces…

BoE chief: Britons 'must accept' they're poorer after Covid

UK - An online calculator showing what pay rise Britons need to keep up with inflation has been unveiled - after a Bank of England chief said people must 'accept they're worse off' and stop asking for more money. It comes as BoE chief Huw Pill's remarks provoked outrage across the political spectrum. A top City figure suggested he should 'engage brain before opening mouth' and a business group described the chief economist as 'astonishingly out of touch'.

The Myth that the US is Transitioning Away from Oil

USA - The United States has been the world’s most dominant economic nation since World War 2, and the primary way they have maintained their empire has been by controlling the world’s oil and energy. But the world is quickly changing as more and more people wake up to the fact that the Ukraine war has been a proxy war between the US and Russia, and that the goal of the US has been to cut off Europe, which does not produce near enough oil to meet the needs of its population, from the cheap energy they were importing from Russia. But the rest of the world is striking back now, and quickly abandoning the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency, which has been called the “petrol dollar,” being the currency that the world has used to trade oil.

Germany Rethinks!

GERMANY - German authorities are reportedly rethinking a plan to sell a large stake in its largest port to a company owned by the Chinese government. A formerly government-approved plan to sell a large stake in the port of Hamburg to Chinese multinational COSCO Shipping is now reportedly in doubt after further investigation into the port has revealed — as if it wasn’t already obvious — the level of its strategic significance. The port of Hamburg is the largest in Germany, the second largest in Europe, and one of the most important in the world.

Abstinence makes the heart grow fonder!

UK - Sex before marriage is no longer taboo in America, but a new report suggests staying abstinent until after your wedding ensures a happily ever after. Researchers from Brigham Young University found that 45 percent of men and women who had only had sex with their spouse reported a 'very high' level of relationship stability in their marriage. The researchers suggest their findings might be due to the risk of comparing or previous sexual partners interfering with a marriage. "These findings challenge the notion that sexual experimentation in the dating years helps people 'settle down' and get ready for marriage," reads the study.

£3.2 BILLION Royal Navy aircraft carrier acting as a scrap yard

UK - Britain's £3.2 billion aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales has been reduced to acting as a scrap-yard. Essential pieces of equipment are being ripped out of the stricken warship, a move that raises questions over its long-term future. The UK's second carrier has been in dry dock since breaking down off Portsmouth in August 2022. Now Navy top brass have begun stripping the carrier – a process known as 'cannibalisation' – which will render HMS Prince of Wales inoperable for much longer. Lift chains, which allow fighter jets to be raised from below deck, electrical systems and sections of the ship's gas turbines have been taken out.

De-dollarisation: Bangladesh Dumps US Currency

BANGLADESH - The head of Sonali Bank Limited, Md Afzal Karim, stated that “Bilateral trade with India in taka and INR will reduce pressure on the US dollar.” As Bangladesh dumps US currency and becomes the 19th country to trade with India with rupees, both nations stand to gain from this. Bangladesh has become the 19th nation to settle bi-lateral trade with India in Indian rupees. Both the countries were in talks for months to give up dollar and use their local currencies for clearing transactions.

Hundreds of shallow earthquakes detected along California coast

USA - California is experiencing a record number of earthquakes. In Long Beach and Seal Beach areas, seismologists recorded a thousand tiny tremors over eight months. The majority were shallow quakes reaching depths less than two kilometers below the surface. Long Beach is no stranger to earthquakes. In 1933, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake gravely impacted the region and may have ruptured in part on the Newport-Inglewood fault (fractures between two blocks of rock). This past earthquake was six to 10 kilometers deep — far greater than the shallow ones seen today. However, constant shallow earthquakes could build up and create possibilities for an earthquake that reaches the surface.

India overtakes China

INDIA - Milestone marks the first time since 1950 that China has dropped to second place in global population ranks. According to the UN’s projections, which are calculated through a variety of factors including census data and birth and death rates, India now has a population of 1,425,775,850, surpassing China for the first time. It is also the first time since 1950, when the UN first began keeping global population records, that China has been knocked off the top spot.

Dubai plot of sand sets new record

DUBAI - This isn’t a spectacular mansion. It’s not a luxury penthouse or a designer apartment. It’s a bunch of sand on an artificial island in Dubai, and it just sold on April 19 for 125 million dirhams ($34 million), setting a record in a market that continues to benefit from an influx of foreign wealth.

Tucker Carlson leaving Fox News

USA - Fox News host Tucker Carlson is leaving the network, the cable TV network announced Monday. Carlson's last show on the network was Friday. Starting Monday, "Fox News Tonight" will air in place of "Tucker Carlson Tonight," which had been one of the network's top prime-time shows since its 2016 launch. "Fox News Tonight" will be led by rotating Fox contributors until a new host is named, the network said.

USA: STIs are at a shocking high.

USA - Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are skyrocketing in the United States, according to the latest data, as gonorrhea, syphilis, and congenital syphilis soared above pre-pandemic levels in 2021. All are preventable and curable if detected early. If that’s the case, why are the numbers increasing? It’s true COVID-19 scrambled and exhausted our healthcare system—-but the pandemic explains only part of how we ended up here. Generations-old stigmas, decreased funding of health programs, and limited sex education all contribute. These factors explain the shocking new STI numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The agency reported that there are at least 2.5 million cases of the four major STIs.

Why the conflict in Sudan is worrying its neighbours

SUDAN - A conflict raging in Sudan is rattling its neighbours and other countries for reasons ranging from concern about shared Nile waters and oil pipelines to the shape of a new government and a new humanitarian crisis in the making. Sudan, which relies heavily on foreign aid, is no stranger to conflict. But this time, fighting is tearing apart the capital instead of a remote area of the nation, which lies in an unstable region bordering the Red Sea, Sahel and Horn of Africa.

Just what is an Apostle?

Today we find the Church of God in a “wilderness of religious confusion!”

The confusion is not merely around the Church – within the religions of the world outside – but WITHIN the very heart of The True Church itself!

Listen to Me, You who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My Law: …I have put My words in your mouth, I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, “you are My people” (Isaiah 51:7,16)
