Is this the man who will replace Angela Merkel?

GERMANY - Markus Söder is the one to watch in German politics. The ascent of the Bavarian Minister-President and leader of the Bavarian Christian Social Union is probably the closest modern Germany has come to Macron-style disruption. The situation is less dramatic than France in 2017 — there is no great disaffection with Chancellor Angela Merkel or with politics in general — but there is a sense that the country needs a shift in direction.

Germany’s Merkel calls for reform as UN marks 75th anniversary

UNITED NATIONS - "In the end, the United Nations can only be as good as its members are united," Merkel said in a video message delivered Monday evening at a ceremony marking the anniversary. "Too often the UN Security Council is blocked when clear decisions are needed," the chancellor said, referring to the branch of the UN tasked with ensuring international peace and security. "We need reform." The interests of individual members regularly keep the organization from achieving its goals, Merkel said. "But anyone who thinks he can get along better on his own is mistaken. Our well-being is shared. And so is our suffering," she said. "We are one world."

A breakthrough could be near in the Greece-Turkey dispute

GREECE - The agreement to resume talks, confirmed by US and Greek officials, comes after a four-year suspension. By the end of this month, the two countries hope to meet for exploratory discussions that could eventually resolve the maritime issue, perhaps through third-party arbitration or referral to the international court in The Hague.

Rioters Mobilizing Nationwide - SAY "USA Burns Tonight"

USA - Americans are being warned to "stay home and stay off the roads" tonight after a Grand Jury in Louisville, KY failed to Indict three of four police officers for the death of Breonna Taylor. Rioters are already smashing stores and businesses in Louisville and law enforcement has Intel claiming rioters all over the USA are being mobilized for destruction tonight. There is significant money behind these rioters and some of that money has now been traced. In Louisville, immediately after the Grand Jury decision was made public, "activists" made a bee-line for a U-Haul rental truck and… lo and behold… it was full of signs, posters, sticks and more!

Britons Are Swamping Police Line to Rat on Neighbours

UK - Britons have allegedly been inundating the police non-emergency number 101 with reports of their neighbours breaking the ‘rule of six’ coronavirus law. It would appear that the case of a woman calling the police on a funeral wake in a pub garden because she thought people were standing too close together was not an isolated incident. Senior police officers have had to put more telephonist staff on call to deal with the rising numbers, according to sources speaking to The Times. The need followed senior ministers instructing Britons to call the police if they see people gathering in groups of larger than six under recently-imposed coronavirus laws. Health Secretary Matt Hancock even said that the police would “come down hard” on people who fail to self-isolate after receiving a positive test result for coronavirus.

San Francisco's raccoon problem

USA - An San Franciscan father and son were walking their dog in Golden Gate Park on Thursday when they turned the corner and encountered 14 cavorting raccoons. Marc Estoque and his boy were surprised to see the animals in broad daylight and approach so closely as they made their way along a trail next to North Lake near 43rd Avenue and Fulton. "It was so surreal… a posse of bandits… like out of a movie," Estoque said. "And then two minutes later there was a coyote.” He captured photos and video of the moment and he's sharing them to raise awareness about an increasing problem in the park with people feeding wildlife and the animals losing their natural fear of humans and congregating in large groups. Estoque and his son didn't offer the critters food, but the raccoons were likely looking for snacks. "We want to keep the animals wild," he said. Wildlife ecologist Jonathan Young said food handouts to wildlife increases the potential for attacks on humans, and he has witnessed people in the park hand-feeding animals. Feeding wildlife is punishable as a misdemeanor with a fine up to $1,000 and/or six months in jail.

UN Chief Guterres Calls for ‘Improved World Governance’

UNITED NATIONS - UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Monday called for “improved world governance” as one solution to constant geopolitical upheaval, with the globalist body central to his appeal for the revival of multilateralism. The Portuguese socialist spoke as the UN marks its 75th anniversary and the coronavirus pandemic continues its deadly toll. AP reports Guterres said, “Today, we have a surplus of multilateral challenges and a deficit of multilateral solutions” before pointing to coronavirus and saying it has “laid bare the world’s fragilities,” which can only be addressed together. “Climate calamity looms, biodiversity is collapsing, poverty is rising, hatred is spreading, geopolitical tensions are escalating, nuclear weapons remain on hair-trigger alert,” Guterres conceded, without specifically adding just what the UN has done to alleviate those problems – if anything. Emphasizing instead the need for a new “multilateral society,” Guterres said,“no one wants a world government — but we must work together to improve world governance.”

Surveillance state

USA - It seems no matter where we go throughout the day, there’s a camera close by. While passing by a security camera may not shock many people, a new study finds the average person is being filmed more often than they think. From walking the dog to driving into work, researchers say Americans are being caught on security cameras at least 238 times every week. The report by Safety.com finds that surveillance technology is spreading to every corner of the globe. Studies estimate there will be around one billion security cameras filming worldwide by 2021. Between 10 and 18 percent of those devices will be in the United States.

The Election That Could Break America

USA - There is a cohort of close observers of our presidential elections, scholars and lawyers and political strategists, who find themselves in the uneasy position of intelligence analysts in the months before 9/11. As November 3 approaches, their screens are blinking red, alight with warnings that the political system does not know how to absorb. They see the obvious signs that we all see, but they also know subtle things that most of us do not. Something dangerous has hove into view, and the nation is lurching into its path.

"No Medical Justification For Emergency Measures"

BELGIUM - Open letter from medical doctors and health professionals to all Belgian authorities and all Belgian media.

COVID is a data-driven operation, but suppose the data are wrong?

USA - A recent New York Times article reported on a large study that concluded up to 90 percent of all US COVID cases are false-positives. There have been numerous reports of hospitals writing “COVID” on patients’ death certificates with no justification whatsoever. The CDC itself has stated that only 6 percent of reported US COVID deaths are FROM the virus. The rest are WITH the virus. This means something is very wrong. These mostly elderly people (the 94 percent) had prior medical conditions that were potentially lethal on their own. Both COVID case numbers and death numbers show evidence of fraud. According to law, significant fraud committed during a disaster is a felony, with a penalty of up to 30 years in prison. Wouldn’t you expect a law-enforcement agency to be conducting an investigation of potential COVID fraud? After all, the lockdowns and the economic devastation are justified on the basis of…what? Case and death numbers. Data. If the data are wrong, someone in the Justice Department should find that out.

Highly destructive ‘super-termite’ arrives in Israel

ISRAEL - Confirmed in the central city of Petah Tikva, the Formosan termite has a ravenous appetite for wood, lives in huge colonies and has never been totally eradicated in any country. The species will eat anything containing cellulose, such as wood, paper or cardboard, and has also been known to devour copper and lead sheets, plaster, asphalt foam insulation boards, plastics and even underground power lines. The species’ destructive capability comes from the size of its colonies, which can number several million members. The queen termite, which lives for some 15 years, lays some 2,000 eggs each day. A colony can reportedly eat up to 400 grams (13 ounces) of wood daily, rendering buildings insecure in a mere few months.

'PERILOUS POINT' Boris Johnson speech

UK - Boris Johnson effectively cancelled Christmas today by warning that extra coronavirus rules could be in place for SIX months. In a live address in the House of Commons, the PM told MPs that hospital admissions have more than doubled in the last fortnight - and Britain has reached a "perilous turning point" like in France and Spain that forced him to act. And the PM gave warnings that "significantly greater restrictions" could be slapped on the country "if all our actions fail to bring the R below 1" in the coming weeks. He stopped short of announcing a two-week circuit break of shutdowns to put a brake on the spread - but said the army could be brought in to help police. The Prime Minister said: "We should assume that the restrictions I have announced will remain in place for perhaps six months.”

Governments Enter the Lockdown Twilight Zone

USA - When the coronavirus first raced around the world, many countries opted for hard lockdowns, ordering people to stay indoors, shutting schools and businesses. We’re now in a somewhat confused Twilight Zone of pseudo or partial lockdowns. Fearful of outright rebellion, and of snuffing out signs of economic recovery, each government is opting for its own hodge-podge of curbs. In some countries gatherings are limited to four, in others six. Some have strict, monitored quarantines, others simply rely on people to “do the right thing.”

'Unfathomable': US death toll from coronavirus hits 200,000

USA - The US death toll from the coronavirus topped 200,000 Tuesday, by far the highest in the world, hitting the once-unimaginable threshold six weeks before an election that is certain to be a referendum in part on President Donald Trump’s handling of the crisis. “It is completely unfathomable that we’ve reached this point,” said Jennifer Nuzzo, a Johns Hopkins University public health researcher, eight months after the scourge first reached the world’s richest nation, with its state-of-the-art laboratories, top-flight scientists and stockpiles of medical supplies. The number of dead is equivalent to a 9/11 attack every day for 67 days. It is roughly equal to the population of Salt Lake City or Huntsville, Alabama. And it is still climbing. Deaths are running at close to 770 a day on average, and a widely cited model from the University of Washington predicts the US toll will double to 400,000 by the end of the year as schools and colleges reopen and cold weather sets in.

“Just what is an APOSTLE?”
Just what is an Apostle?

Today we find the Church of God in a “wilderness of religious confusion!”

The confusion is not merely around the Church – within the religions of the world outside – but WITHIN the very heart of The True Church itself!

Listen to Me, You who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My Law: …I have put My words in your mouth, I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, “you are My people” (Isaiah 51:7,16)
