On Monday, it was confirmed that the Biden administration is actively considering completely shutting down the Line 5 pipeline… Needless to say, this wouldn’t make any economic sense at all. We are in the midst of the worst global energy crisis since the 1970s, gas prices are rising rapidly, and the federal government is projecting that heating costs are going to absolutely explode this winter. So this is the perfect time to shut down one of our most important energy pipelines? I don’t think so.

Meanwhile, the various mandates that the Biden administration has already issued are causing all sorts of chaos. Countless numbers of highly qualified Americans have already been forced out of their jobs, and it is being reported that we could soon see “the termination of over half of the border patrol agents”…

And now the biggest mandate of all is coming. The Fifth Circuit temporarily suspended enforcement of the OSHA mandate as litigation proceeds, and other courts will be issuing rulings in other suits as well. The OSHA mandate would cover more than 80 million American workers, and right now approximately 25 million of those workers are not in compliance…

So Biden actually wants to kick millions of Americans out of their jobs in this sort of an environment? That would appear to be insane. But it would actually make perfect sense if he actually wanted to kill the economy. We are in the midst of a long national nightmare, and it will not be ending any time soon.

On this basis, I would like to do my bit for the planet by pledging never to fly in a private jet or go for a holiday on a private island in the Bahamas – things I can only dream about doing anyway. COP26 will no doubt end with another fudge that will be talked up as a success. But the real success will simply be to keep the COP process going. For world leaders, particularly in the wealthy West, the process is as important as any outcomes. Climate change provides them with a great civilising mission, an opportunity to strut about on the world stage when they achieve so little at home.

Moreover, all the easy stuff in terms of climate change has been done. Never mind selling climate deals to each other – the biggest problem for those COP26 leaders is going to be to sell severe climate action to their own voters.

However, more than 500 people with oil and gas interests are accredited for the summit, according to analysis of the UN's provisional list of named attendees by Global Witness and other groups. Around 40,000 people are attending Cop26, with data showing that Brazil has the biggest official team of negotiators at 479 delegates while the UK, which is hosting the major conference, has 230.

Campaigners have found that more than 100 fossil fuel companies have been represented at the conference, including the International Emissions Trading Association, which has 103 delegates. The IETA is backed by oil companies who promote offsetting and carbon trading to allow them to continue extracting fossil fuels, the groups claimed.

Supposedly inspired by the menus at the COP26 climate conference, in which all meals were accompanied by their carbon footprint on attendees’ printed menus, the plan would seem to be an upwardly mobile version of the old saying ‘you are what you eat’. However, for those trying to eat their way to environmental friendliness, more than a few environmental activists noted that the ‘sustainable’ meals being fed to the masters of the (climate) universe involve emitting more than three times the average ‘carbon foodprint’ the planet’s residents allegedly must adhere to in order to prevent climate catastrophe.

Even the organizers of the menu noted that the average person would have to shrink their ‘foodprint’ down to 0.5 kg of carbon dioxide in order to meet 2015’s Paris Climate Agreement goals. Perhaps their own carbon-profligate menu, which included a haggis dish coming in at more than seven times that desirably average foodprint, was a sly jab at the governments themselves, most of which are considerably behind on fulfilling the carbon promises they made six years ago.

If the Food Police get their wish and make carbon labels mandatory – a goal The Telegraph insists everyone wants – their activities won’t be limited to tracking eaters’ carbon jawprints, either. UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid has revealed an ambitious (and privacy-busting) new app aimed at “help[ing] people make positive changes to their diet and physical activity.”

The Institute’s new definition of a COVID death means that COVID has killed fewer people in Italy than (whisper it) the average bout of seasonal flu. If a similar change were made by other national governments, the official COVID death toll would be cut by a margin of greater than 90 per cent. Now we come to understand that the official killed ‘by COVID’ and not ‘with COVID’ figure is less than one tenth what is officially reported as the total COVID death toll.

Yesterday, the American-owned firm was trying to backpedal, saying it would still hire white males but only after they had been interviewed by a 'diverse' panel including at least one woman and one 'person of colour'.

But be honest, chaps. Would you feel comfortable applying for a job when you know the chips have been stacked against you in advance? Why bother? Is it coz I is white? And how many execs with one eye on their trebles-all-round bonuses will be bold enough to hire a white man ahead of a woman or black applicant?

Some of us saw this coming. In 1995, the introduction to my first book, You Couldn't Make It Up, read: 'I was born in 1954, white, male and in Essex. In 20 years' time, any baby answering that description will be found hidden in the bullrushes.' As usual, I exaggerated for comic effect. But my attempt at satire anticipated the modern trend towards blaming straight white men for all the evils of the world.

As I've said before, when Daniel Levy, the chairman of Spurs, stands down voluntarily in favour of a black lesbian from Tottenham's Broadwater Farm council estate, I might actually accept that the club's 'taking the knee', BLM, rainbow laces posturing is sincere. Similarly, when Ronald P O'Hanley, the white, Harvard Business School-educated chairman of State Street has his bonus slashed and is replaced by a black woman from across 110th Street in Harlem, I will take his 'inclusion, diversity and corporate responsibility' doctrine seriously.

Until then, sadly, in most boardrooms everywhere, women and ethnic minorities need not apply.

Unable to get a straight answer, she began an investigation and opened a hornet’s nest, as she explained to RT in early October. Now, she is being sued by America’s largest teachers’ union and was a key factor in the NSBA issuing a public letter to Joe Biden claiming that parents like her campaigning against CRT “could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism,” and also asking for assistance from the “US Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), US Department of Homeland Security, US Secret Service” to reduce the risk of violence.

Solas vented her fury to media organisations about the shame of being portrayed as a domestic terrorist – but although the NSBA issued an apology, it was not to Solas and fellow parents. She explained, “The NSBA apologised to its board members for not getting their vote to send out this letter that branded parents domestic terrorists.”

As part of the inventive English lesson, which probably spoiled more than one trip to the cafeteria, high school students at Richmond Hill were tasked with finding ways of ‘raising and eating of babies to solve the world hunger problem’. Yum. Rhonda Thomas, founder and president of Truth in Education, broke down the details of the class assignment in a shocking interview with The New American. The information from the lesson plan that she divulged is nothing short of – as Thomas herself described it – “satanic.”

“Since the child has passed we don’t need to take up any more land for cemeteries so we slap [the babies] on the grill and cook their flesh and make delicious hamburgers… For mass production, we would encourage the US government to create a business negotiation with China about trying to reduce their population by donating children to our government,” the instruction stated. “We also take children from all organizations, including foster care.”

This ribald lesson in ‘satire’ does not end there. It goes on to discuss the creation of a ‘Dahmer Mini Camp,’ where the motto is ‘you are what you eat.’ For the uninitiated, ‘Dahmer’ is an allusion to Jeffrey Dahmer, the late American serial killer who not only preyed on black men, but had an appetite for them as well. Once your belly laughing has subsided, take a guess as to the demographic that would be targeted for the baby burgers? Give yourself an ‘A’ if you said, “Low income, poverty areas and countries,” the very communities, incidentally, that Planned Parenthood has been accused of catering to in the past.
