SWITZERLAND - The World Economic Forum (WEF), an international organization that works to “shape global, regional and industry agendas,” recently published its latest dystopian proposal – a far-reaching digital ID system that will collect as much data as possible on individuals and then use this data to determine their level of access to various services. This digital ID proposal is outlined in a report titled “Advancing Digital Agency: The Power of Data Intermediaries” and builds upon a digital ID framework that the WEF has published previously. Under this framework, the WEF proposes collecting data from many aspects of people’s “everyday lives” through their devices, telecommunications networks, and third-party service providers.

UK - Maajid Nawaz, a British activist and radio broadcaster outlined how Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF) is penetrating world governments to put its own members as leaders to establish a global “checkpoint society” in a Saturday discussion. “That’s what they say,” Nawaz added, pointing out that the World Economic Forum’s webpage explains the so-called Great Reset, whose proponents have notoriously claimed that by 2030, humans will “own nothing and be happy.”

USA - Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday praised Russian President Vladimir Putin's recognition of the independence of two breakaway regions in Ukraine as "genius." "Putin declares a big portion of Ukraine — Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that's wonderful," Trump told a conservative podcaster in an interview published Tuesday. "I said, 'How smart is that?' And he's gonna go in and be a peacekeeper... We could use that on our southern border." Trump also said Putin was "very savvy." The comments came as President Biden called the Russian moves the start of an invasion of Ukraine, and imposed sanctions. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (Republican for Kentucky), in his latest break with Trump, denounced "Putin's aggression" and called for Biden to impose "devastating sanctions." After weeks of both sides in the Ukrainian conflict blaming each other for escalating the situation needlessly, seemingly out of the blue Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared in public and signed documents that reportedly state that Russia is recognizing the national sovereignty of Donetsk and Luhansk, republics currently part of the Ukraine, but with historical ties to Russia.

USA - This appears to me to be the implementation of a script that has already been written that charts a course now that will move the world on to the next big crisis, with the end goal of uniting the world under a central, technological state. Low-Earth orbit (LEO) — the area about 100 to 1,200 miles above the planet, where the ISS has remained continuously staffed since 2000 — is primed for a takeover by the free market. Rather than build its own successor space station, NASA is grooming other companies for American replacements. “NASA has publicly said it doesn’t want to do another thing like this. It turned low-Earth orbit over to the private sector for development,” John Logsdon, a professor emeritus of political science and international affairs at George Washington University, told The Daily Beast. “It’s the next chapter in humans utilizing space.”

GERMANY - German Chanc ellor Olaf Scholz has announced that his government will block the approval process for the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline in a major rebuke of Russia following Vladimir Putin’s move to recognise the sovereignty of two pro-Russian regions of the Donbas in Ukraine. Speaking to reporters in Berlin on Tuesday Morning, the recently installed left-wing Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz said that he has instructed the Federal Ministry of Economics to take steps to ensure the gas pipeline cannot be approved for now after already being on hold from the nation’s energy regulator, the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur).

USA - American travelers – from next year (2023) – will be required to register before traveling to more than half of the nations in Europe. Citizens of the US – along with travelers from around 60 other countries – will need to register their details on the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS). And, they will be required to do this prior to any short visit – that is less than 90 days – that they plan to make to all countries within the Schengen zone. The system has been designed to alert authorities of anyone who may be a potential threat to a nation’s security – thus being a useful tool to help reduce potential criminal activity and acts of terrorism. The system will require individuals to provide their basic personal information – such as full name, date of birth, registered address and contact details. You will also be asked to confirm information regarding your citizenship, educational and work history, as well as provide details of your travel plans – including where you plan to visit, why you plan to visit there, and the length of time that you are planning to be there for.

CANADA - The Canadian House of Commons voted in favor of the emergency powers granted to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to shut down the protests by hundreds of truck drivers against the vaccine mandates. The demonstration by the truckers brought Ottawa to a standstill until police officers forcibly removed them and towed their trucks from the city center. Trudeau invoked the emergency powers for the first time since they were written into law in 1988. On Monday, a “motion for confirmation of the declaration of emergency” passed with 185 members in favor and 151 members voting in opposition. The motion extends the emergency powers for thirty days. Civil liberties groups and supporters of the trucker protest have accused Trudeau of using the trucker protest in order to inappropriately extend the powers of government.

SWITZERLAND - Schwab as publisher of the World Economic Forum’s 2010 “Global Redesign” report postulates that a globalized world is best managed by a self-selected coalition of multinational corporations, governments and select civil society organizations (CSOs). He argues that governments are no longer “the overwhelmingly dominant actors on the world stage” and that “the time has come for a new stakeholder paradigm of international governance”. The WEF’s vision includes a “public-private” UN, in which certain specialized agencies would operate under joint state and non-state governance systems. According to the Transnational Institute (TNI), the Forum is hence planning to replace a recognised democratic model with a model where a self-selected group of “stakeholders” make decisions on behalf of the people. The think tank summarises that we are increasingly entering a world where gatherings such as Davos are “a silent global coup d’état” to capture governance.”

USA - Jens Stoltenberg, the secretary general of NATO who answers to Washington declared today (February 19) at the Munich Security Conference that “if the Kremlin’s aim is to have less NATO on its borders, it will only get more NATO.” He says NATO is beefing up its forces “across the alliance,” that is, in the NATO countries on Russia’s borders.
