USA - Catherine Austin Fitts (CAF), Publisher of The Solari Report and former Assistant Secretary of Housing (Bush 41 Admin.), says what is coming for the economy is pain – and lots of it. CAF explains, “We are either in a major correction or we are going to go into a bear (market), and a lot of it depends on many different politics. If you look at the money being pumped out... on climate change, on green energy, environment and all these different new sort of scams, it depends on how they inject money. It’s either a major correction or it could turn into a bear (market). There is no way to tell because it is purely political.” Various Fed presidents are repeatedly saying the central bank is going to continue raising interest rates. Why? CAF says, “I think they are going to keep raising interest rates. If you are Federal Reserve, you are playing a global game, and what you have to do is protect the reserve currency status. In short, the Fed will defend the dollar and the world reserve currency status no matter how hard the stock market crashes, no matter how much the economy crashes, no matter how much the bond market crashes and no matter how much the housing market crashes.
UK - The Liz Truss tragicomedy, almost by accident, showed that we are a country in terrible debt. We live on a reputation for solvency that we no longer deserve. Jeremy Hunt’s cancellation of the Truss Package on Monday morning was delivered and timed to placate the money markets. Our supposedly sovereign Parliament had to wait for hours to be told the same thing. Let us look at the extent of the mess which this crisis has revealed, like a flash of lightning in pitch darkness which shows a traveller he is on the edge of a precipice.

Come visit America where you can watch people buy fentanyl-laced drugs in our open air drug markets and where addicts are free to defecate on the sidewalks whenever they want.
ASIA - The possibility of Saudi Arabia joining the BRICS shows the world is moving on from Western dominance. Two decades on from its emergence as a marketing ploy, the concept has enjoyed an unlikely upturn. Since 2006, BRIC/BRICS has been the format for regular meetings at a ministerial and then the highest political level. As the political community emerged (it should be stressed - strictly informally), a criterion was formed of its own accord. That BRICS is a group of countries with full sovereignty, ie able to pursue fully independent policies.
USA - Exactly one week after Biden’s fateful decision, the US was hit by one of the worst natural disasters in our history. Hurricane Ian will go down as one of the worst natural disasters in the history of the United States. The utter devastation that we are witnessing in southwest Florida is difficult to comprehend, and it will literally take years for the region to recover. When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, it was just a Category 3 storm. Hurricane Ian was a very strong Category 4 storm when it finally made landfall, and it very nearly hit Category 5.

EUROPE - Europe’s far-right scored another victory this week as Italy’s Giorgia Meloni and her party, Brothers of Italy, won big in the country’s general election. It marks the first time since 1948, when Italy’s anti-fascist constitution came into force, that a party with fascist roots has come to power in the southern European country.
ISRAEL - It is time to assert our sovereignty over our holiest site, to send a clear message to the world that the Temple Mount will indeed be a place for free worship. The expression “ground zero” connotes the place of essence, of origin, of fundamental significance. In Israel, Har Habayit, The Temple Mount, has come to be seen as that essential, irreplaceable, and defining place of the Jewish people and of the State of Israel.
EUROPE - Jordan Peterson sat down for an interview with author Michael Yon this week to discuss the likely collapse of Western Europe. Jordan commented on the Western elites like Justin Trudeau who are killing off their economies with their insane energy policies. Nowhere is this more evident than in Germany where there is a run on firewood this year by the working class to heat their homes in the upcoming winter. Jordan told Michael Yon, “I don’t see how we could be stupider in the West if we actually took courses in stupidity.” And Jordan warned about the collapse of Germany. Earlier this week the Russian gas pipelines to Germany were blown up. This puts even more stress on the German economy that is already facing soaring energy prices and record inflation.
GERMANY - The gloves are off on both sides. High explosives will be deployed and high human casualties expected on both sides. Russia will respond accordingly. It is still unclear how NATO will react, officially and unofficially. But insiders assume NATO will then enter the war. Everyone can imagine what the consequences will be for the people of Germany and Europe.
NATO - The heads of NATO weapons industries were summoned to Brussels on Tuesday by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to discuss ways to replenish stockpiles of weapons and ammunition the US-led bloc has sent to Ukraine. Stoltenberg urged the military-industrial complex to speed up production amid reports the West was running short on key supplies. The meeting of the Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD) focused on the bloc’s “capabilities and munitions stockpiles” in light of the conflict in Ukraine, according to NATO. “Enhancing NATO stockpiles will ensure we can keep supporting Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said. “We need to keep working together as NATO Allies and with industry to replenish our munitions stocks and provide Ukraine with the support it needs, for as long as Ukraine needs it.”
GERMANY - Germany and Japan conducted their first joint military drills Wednesday as Berlin forecast a continuous security commitment in the volatile region. UPI reports three F-2 fighter jets from Japan’s Air Self-Defense Force and three German Eurofighter jets trained together to improve communication and tactical skills. German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht told the Japan Times that Berlin sees a future role to play in an area roiled by China’s growing geopolitical ambitions. “The military buildup in the region is picking up speed, geopolitical tensions are exacerbating territorial conflicts and the risk of escalation is increasing,” she said. This is part of the German Air Force's large-scale exercise "Rapid Pacific 2022" to the Asian region and the German Air Force has dispatched a group of several aircraft to Japan for the first time.
USA - Major advertisers are suspending campaigns and pulling promotions from Twitter because their advertisements are ending up displayed alongside Tweets soliciting child sex abuse material, according to a new report highlighted by Reuters. The report reveals that advertisers like Dyson, Mazda, and Ecolab have already suspended or pulled ads or campaigns. And that at least 30 other brands, including Disney, Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Coca-Cola have been featured on Twitter profiles that push links to material that is sexually exploitative of children. The report was conducted by cybersecurity group Ghost Data, and examples of the disturbing advertising juxtapositions were reviewed by Reuters. Ghost Data’s report also identified 500+ Twitter accounts that it says openly solicited or shared child sexual abuse material on the platform over just a 20-day period in September, over 70% of which Twitter failed to remove.

Tropical Storm Ian is barreling its way across Florida, leaving a devastating trail of destruction in its wake as hundreds of people are feared dead, many remain trapped in their flooded homes and two million are left without power. The formidable hurricane blasted ashore with catastrophic force on Wednesday afternoon as a Category 4 storm, packing sustained winds of 150mph and smashing homes with an 18ft wall of water in some areas. Biden declared a 'major disaster' in Florida early Thursday morning. The clear up cost is set to cost billions. 'This could be the deadliest hurricane in Florida's history,' Biden says.
CUBA - Cuba's electrical grid collapsed late on Tuesday, local officials said, leaving the entire country in the dark shortly after Hurricane Ian plowed through the western end of the island leaving a path of destruction in its wake. The sprawling Category 3 hurricane was barreling north towards the Dry Tortugas, off the Florida Keys, late on Tuesday, with maximum sustained winds of 120 miles per hour (195 km per hour), the US National Hurricane Center (NHC) said. Cuba's electrical grid - decades-old and in desperate need of modernization, has been faltering for months with blackouts an everyday event across much of the island. But officials said the storm had proven to be too much for the system, provoking a failure that shut off the lights for the island's 11.3 million people. "The system was already operating under complex conditions with the passage of Hurricane Ian," said Lazaro Guerra, technical director of Cuba's Electricity Union. "There is no electricity service in any part of the country right now."
