And the risks accumulate.” Among men ages 18 to 29, the annual rate of firearm homicides in that ZIP code was 1,277 per 100,000 people in 2021 and 2022, the study found, compared with an annual death rate for US troops in a heavily engaged combat brigade in Iraq of 675 per 100,000.

TURKEY - A powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake rocked southern Turkey and northern Syria early Monday morning, toppling hundreds of buildings and killing at least 641 people. The death toll is expected to rise throughout the day. Rescue workers searched mounds of wreckage in cities and towns across the area as hundreds of people remained trapped under rubble.
ISRAEL - Both Moscow and Kiev appeared to have been ready for a ceasefire, former Israeli PM Naftali Bennett says. Peace might’ve been agreed between Russia and Ukraine shortly after the start of the conflict, but Kiev’s Western backers blocked the negotiations between the two neighbors, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who mediated those contacts, has said. Bennet, who gave an almost five-hour-long video interview to Israel’s Channel 12 on Saturday, claimed that his efforts as a middleman came close to succeeding as both Moscow and Kiev appeared to be ready to make concessions and agree to a truce.
USA - In his book, “The New Abnormal: The Rise of the Biomedical Security State,” Dr Aaron Kheriaty details how the COVID pandemic paved the way for the implementation of a totalitarian one world government, where human rights and freedoms will no longer exist. USA - This story from last week keeps getting worse. The husband of 32-year-old Lindsay Clancy went to the store for about 20-minutes. When he returned, he found his three small children unconscious, suffocated by their mother. A lawyer representing Lindsay Clancy, the Duxbury mother accused in connection with the deaths of her three children, said in court Friday that his client was overmedicated when the children were slain. He also argued for permission to have a psychologist evaluate her in her hospital room.
USA - Eyes were locked on the skies Saturday as a suspected Chinese spy balloon slowly drifted toward the US Atlantic Coast and remained in clear view over the Carolinas — where local authorities warned civilians against taking potshots at the floating orb — before it was shot down when it drifted over the Atlantic Ocean.
USA - Representative Mike Turner (Republican for Ohio) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that President Joe Biden allowed the Chinese balloon to complete its mission. Turner said, “Clearly, the president taking it down over the Atlantic is sort of like the quarterback tackled after the game is over. The satellite had completed its mission. This should never have been allowed to enter the United States and never should have been allowed to complete its mission. If you ask somebody to draw an x at every place of our sensitive missile defense sites, nuclear weapons infrastructure, nuclear weapons sites are, you would put them all along this path. Clearly, this was an attempt by China to gather information to defeat our command and control of our sensitive missile offense and nuclear weapon sites, and that certainly is an urgency this administration doesn’t recognize.”

USA - I can’t take it anymore. Fake numbers that are released by the government get turned into fake news by the corporate media, and many Americans don’t even realize that they are being conned. Major news outlets all over the country are breathlessly trumpeting the “blockbuster jobs report” as if it is a sign from heaven that good economic times are ahead. We are being told that the US economy added 517,000 jobs last month, but that isn’t true.
IRAN - The Iranian Permanent Mission to the UN issued a warning following the drone attack on a military facility in Isfahan, saying that any military action by the US against Iran would be regarded as a declaration of war and would be met with reprisal. "In Iran’s perspective, the use of the military option at any level means US entry into the war. According to the mission, if the US "miscalculates and launches a war," it would only be able to hold itself responsible for the "consequences for the region and the globe,” adding that Iran would be able to protect its own interests and defend itself.
RUSSIA - PM Netanyahu told CNN he was “looking into” sending the Iron Dome to Kiev, prompting a reaction from Moscow. Anyone so much as speculating about sending weapons to Ukraine is escalating the conflict, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In an interview to CNN on Tuesday, Netanyahu said he did not rule out the possibility of sending Iron Dome missile defense systems to Kiev – something his predecessor rejected outright.
UKRAINE - Kyiv believe Putin's attack may happen around February 24 - the one year anniversary of the invasion. Putin is desperate to achieve something after a bruising first year which has seen his forces thrown back. Ukraine however fear the next few weeks will be crucial for the conflict as they continue to call for weapons from the West. Defence minister Oleksii Reznikov believes Putin is gathering up to 500,00 soldiers for the new offensive.
USA - The billionaire activist foresaw that NATO would become the enforcer and Eastern Europeans the manpower for his new world order. George Soros is either stunningly prescient or frighteningly influential when it comes to determining who will need to do all the bleeding and dying that he deems necessary to bring about a desirable “new world order.”
