UNITED NATIONS - A new report from the United Nations has called for all forms of drug use and sexual activity to be decriminalized globally. While on the surface, it may seem relatively uncontroversial, the report calls for sex between adults and minors to be decriminalized, so long as the minors “consent”: Minors, of course, cannot truly consent to sex with an adult — something these so-called experts should know. The report also calls for all criminal laws relating to sex work to be abolished, which could easily serve to aid traffickers, pimps, and abusers. In turn, this serves the abortion industry as well, which has aided traffickers and abusers by failing to report suspected abuse and returning victims to their abusers after their abortions.
USA - Last summer the Biden regime was pushing an amendment to the international health regulations administered by the UN World Health Organization that would have given the WHO the power to dictate US policy whenever there is a declared “public health emergency of international concern.” But now the Biden regime is back at it, as Hoft reminds us, “pushing for this insane action to destroy Americans’ rights once and for all.” The Biden regime publicly affirmed their commitment to a “legally-binding” Pandemic Accord in a press release in February which will give the World Health Organization (WHO) control over US pandemic policies, though work remains in certain areas.
USA - Torrents and torrents of rain have drowned thousands of acres of farmland in California’s Central Valley this winter and resuscitated a lake that vanished decades ago. As far as the eye can see, water stretches to the horizon — across roads, across crop fields, through homes and buildings. Now, the massive snowpack that piled up on the Sierra Nevada this winter is a dripping time bomb. As it melts, the flood could triple in size by summer, threatening the surrounding communities and costing billions in losses.
USA - It's a once-thriving area packed with the headquarters of technology giants including Uber, Airbnb, Yelp, Square and Twitter. The only problem for the folks at Joe & The Juice — and for San Francisco in general — is that there are so few people actually in them. The undeniably beautiful 'City by the Bay', which for years was the one destination on America's West Coast that tourists missed at their peril, is now a must-see in a rather different way — as a bleak warning of what could kill cities around the world as they struggle to cope with the lingering economic legacy of the pandemic and the flight from offices. For San Francisco is falling into what economists call an 'urban doom loop', essentially a vicious circle of interconnected trends and forces that send cities spiralling into economic and social ruin.
USA - We are closer to a war with China than most people realize. Right now, US officials in Washington are deeply concerned that the Chinese may impose a full-blown blockade on Taiwan as the first step in a “reunification” campaign. Many Americans don’t realize that such a move would be a really, really big deal. If China chooses to blockade Taiwan, the US and China would instantly be in a state of war. All of a sudden, the flow of high-end computer chips from Taiwan would completely stop. And all of a sudden, the flow of products that we import from China would completely stop. In other words, our standard of living would be radically altered for the foreseeable future.
CHINA - China just expanded wartime military draft to include veterans and college students signaling they may be preparing for global conflict. Beijing this week announced revisions to its conscription policy and said that should China enter a state of war, veterans and educated college students can expect to be on top of the list to be drafted. China has positioned these changes as a necessary step to modernize the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and to bolster its combat effectiveness. However, adding the nation’s most educated as priority draftees runs counter not only to traditional Western conscription practices, but China’s as well. “It fits into the context of PLA modernization,” Heino Klinck, former deputy assistant secretary of defense for East Asia and military attaché to China, told Fox News Digital.
CHINA - China’s oil and gas giant Sinopec announced on Wednesday that it had signed a deal with QatarEnergy, which manages the nation’s prodigious supplies of liquefied natural gas (LNG), to become a shareholder in the latter’s North Field East (NFE) expansion project, granting China unprecedented control over an LNG source.
USA - The plan is to take away control of all your cash. In the past few weeks, you’ve probably seen the news of banks collapsing in America and around the rest of the world. First, Silicon Valley bank, then Silvergate, Credit Suisse, and more. These bank collapses have paved the way for the government to take control. They’ve already begun taking advantage with a pilot program called Regulated Liability Network US Pilot. It’s designed to weaponize the government’s control over your money.
USA - In talking this week with a friend about the United States seemingly imploding from within across multiple sectors, my friend stressed: “It’s not just from within. There is a run on the United States from certain nations and business interests around the world. Just like there was a run on banks after the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, many nations are either thinking about — or actually proceeding with — transferring at least a portion of their allegiance, assets and commitments from the ‘Bank of the US’ to the ‘Bank of China’ or elsewhere.”
FRANCE - French President Emmanuel Macron’s recent trip to China has sent shock-waves throughout the Western World, especially after he stated that Europe needs to stop being “America’s followers” and not get involved in China’s conflict with Taiwan. The US corporate media’s initial report about why Macron was visiting China was that he was allegedly asking China for help in the Ukraine conflict against Russia, and assurances that China would not supply arms to Russia.
USA - As economies around the world – especially emerging ones – feel the spillover effect of US monetary tightening, the debate is being reignited on ending the dollar’s dominance in global trade. Another key factor is Washington’s ability to use its currency as a potent tool for political blackmail and coercion against nations it sees as adversaries. From Cuba to Iran to Syria to Russia, the US has been accused of arbitrarily imposing sanctions on nations to further its own economic interests while pursuing irresponsible monetary policies. Several experts have cited the weaponization of the dollar as a likely trigger that could bring an end to its dominance as the world’s most powerful currency.
USA - Bill Burns says Washington’s position as the “big kid on the geopolitical block” isn’t guaranteed. The dominant global role of the US can no longer be guaranteed as the country is witnessing a time of change “that comes along a couple of times a century,” CIA Director Bill Burns has claimed. Speaking at the Baker Institute earlier this week, Burns said that although Washington “still has a better hand to play than any of our rivals,” it is “no longer the only big kid on the geopolitical block and our position at the head of the table isn’t guaranteed.”
USA - The world has been pushed to the brink of total destruction by inept leaders and nuclear weapons that are 500 times as powerful as the atomic bombs that American forces dropped on Japan during World War II, former US president Donald Trump has claimed.
USA - The Biden administration has proposed a federal mandate to reduce the supply of water to 40 million Americans who live in western states dependent on the Colorado River Basin to address long-term severe drought and low run-off conditions. A draft report by the Department of the Interior’s (DOI’s) Bureau of Reclamation proposes to revise the current guidelines for the near-term operation of the Glen Canyon and Hoover dams.
USA - Approximately 18,000 cows were killed in a blast at a Texas dairy farm earlier this week, according to local authorities. The explosion, at South Fork Dairy near the town of Dimmitt, also left one person in critical condition. Authorities believe that machinery in the facility may have ignited methane gas.
When police and emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they found one person trapped who had to be rescued and flown to hospital in critical condition. While the exact figure of cows that were killed by fire and smoke remains unknown, the Sheriff's Office told the BBC that an "estimated 18,000 head of cattle" had been lost.
