GERMANY - Germany fully bought into the green energy transition, but its economy is now showing serious signs of weakness as a prolonged energy crisis runs its course. The country is aiming to have its energy supply and demand reach “net-zero” emissions by 2050, relying on sources like wind, solar and hydrogen fuels after former Prime Minister Angela Merkel decided in 2011 to eventually shutter the country’s nuclear power plant fleet. Despite the German government’s regulatory and spending blitz to usher in the green transition, the country is not on track to meet its climate goals, but its decision to rely on intermittent green energy generation has contributed to an ongoing energy crisis that is crippling its economy.
USA - Could this be the catalyst for the next civil war? The federal government warned the Texas National Guard to “cease and desist its efforts to block Border Patrol’s access in and around the Shelby Park area and remove all barriers to access to the US-Mexico border.” Texas said NO - and numerous states are sending resources to Texas to stand against the federal government. Since the Biden Administration has adopted an open border policy, Texas has implemented a state law whereby they will arrest all illegal aliens entering their state.
USA - The Texas National Guard Has Managed Seal The Border in Only A Matter of Days. This is proof that politicians in both parties have the ability to stop it immediately, but are choosing not to!
UK - Speaking on Monday, Britain's defence secretary Grant Shapps warned in a speech that the UK has moved out of a post-war state and is now facing a 'pre-war world'. His comments were made to highlight the need for Britain to increase its defence spending, but also demonstrated growing concern over current and future conflicts. Relative peace in Europe was shattered in February 2022 with Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, and the Middle East once again found itself in crisis 18 months later after Hamas's October 7 terror attack on Israel, and Israel's retaliation on Gaza.
SWITZERLAND - President Javier Milei of Argentina took the World Economic Forum by storm with a provocative keynote speech on Wednesday. The libertarian leader delivered a blistering critique of socialism and a fervent endorsement of capitalist principles before a crowd of the world’s most influential political and economic figures. Milei, having been introduced by Klaus Schwab himself, then proceeded to confront the elites with his fiery speech. The 53-year-old president did not hold back in his rebuke of the West’s slide toward collectivism — a political theory associated with communism. “I am here today to tell you that the West is in danger,” warned Milei.
USA - How ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ is wrecking the American dream. Hiring by quota and diverting hours of education to ‘social justice’ strips US workplaces of professionals. Once a nation built on the foundation of meritocracy, where the most qualified people – regardless of race, creed or gender – rose to the top, America is now satisfied to fill positions based on quotas.
UK - Almost two thirds of young people are now addicted to online pornography, according to a leading mental health and addiction clinic. Paracelsus Recovery said research on patients referred for treatment suggested that porn addiction is significantly more prevalent than official numbers suggest. Children are being exposed to online pornography from as young as nine, according to a recent study for the children's commissioner for England. A quarter of 16 to 21-year-olds first saw pornography on the internet while still at primary school. By the age of 13, 50 per cent had been exposed to it.
USA - A group of House Republicans has taken a firm stance against the World Economic Forum (WEF) by introducing a new piece of legislation aimed at cutting off all federal funding to the globalist organization, The Daily Caller reported. The Defund Davos Act seeks to prevent the State Department, USAID, and other federal agencies from funneling money into the WEF. The proposed bill states, “No funds available to the Department of State, the United States Agency for International Development, or any other department or agency may be used to provide funding for the World Economic Forum.” According to records, the United States government has contributed millions to the WEF over the past years. This spending trend is something Perry and his fellow GOP lawmakers argue should come to an abrupt end.
USA - Homeschooling revolution: leftists retaliate against homeschooling as parents flee degenerate, failing public schools. Last November, American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten annoyed the vast American homeschooling community by expressing bafflement behind the trend to remove children from school. “What’s behind the increase in homeschooling?” Weingarten posted on X (formerly Twitter), referencing an article on Axios with the same title. This apparent cluelessness drew snorts of derision from parents all over the nation, who didn’t hold back on their responses by the thousands – so much so that Weingarten turned off replies to her post.
IRAN - After almost two years of war in Ukraine and weeks of devastating airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, now fresh destruction and death in Iran after Pakistan attacked it on Thursday. Authorities in Tehran claimed that three women, four men and two children were killed. Yet in recent years, these two countries have been allied on several issues. Why has neighbour turned on neighbour?
ISRAEL - The rift between Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu deepened on Thursday as the Israeli Prime Minister accused the US of trying to 'coerce' Israel. In an interview on national TV, Netanyahu rejected US calls to scale back Israel´s military offensive in the Gaza Strip and take steps toward the establishment of a Palestinian state after the war. Netanyahu accused the US of trying to 'coerce' Israel into a situation which would 'endanger' the country and said 'we will not settle for anything short of an absolute victory'. White House national security spokesman John Kirby immediately responded, saying: 'We obviously see it differently.' The Biden administration is desperately seeking to distance itself from the conflict ahead of this year's general election amid growing disquiet among voters over the Palestinian death toll - which Hamas claims has hit almost 25,000. The cost of the war has led to increasing calls from the international community to halt the offensive.
ISRAEL - Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Israel is already carrying out direct attacks on Iran and is making every possible effort to prevent Tehran from attaining nuclear weapons. Answering a reporter’s question about why Israel was conducting attacks on Iran’s proxies rather than attacking the country directly, the Israeli Prime Minister responded by saying: “Who says we are not attacking Iran, we are attacking.”
USA - Are you convinced that we are headed for societal collapse? If so, you are definitely not alone. Survey after survey has shown that faith in all of our major institutions is dropping, and there is a growing consensus that very challenging times are ahead of us. Here in 2024, we will be facing the most chaotic election season in our entire history, multiple wars are erupting all over the planet, economic problems are rapidly growing, destructive natural disasters are becoming more frequent, global authorities are warning us to brace ourselves for the next pandemic, and our cities are being absolutely overwhelmed by endless waves of new migrants.
GERMANY - Germany is in severe crisis. Between a tanking economy and an increasingly unpopular government, the country has begun to show just how much stress it is under. Half a year ago, the head of German carmaker Volkswagen warned that “the roof is on fire,” while The Economist concluded that “disaster,” meaning not just the decline but collapse of the German car industry, is “no longer inconceivable.”
ISRAEL - European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said on Friday that the only peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict included the creation of a Palestinian state, and he suggested this might need to “be imposed from the outside,” without Israel’s agreement. Borrell, in a speech at the University of Valladolid in Spain, said that without international intervention, the “spiral of hate will continue generation after generation,” according to multiple Spanish media outlets. “The actors are too opposed to be able to reach an agreement autonomously,” Borrell said. “If everyone is in favor of this solution, the international community will have to impose it.”
