Due to the fact April’s total solar eclipse will be the last of its kind to occur in North America for 20 years, it is projected to be the US’s largest mass travel event in 2024, Michael Zeiler, expert solar eclipse cartographer, told ABC News. Zeiler compared eclipse day travel to “50 simultaneous Super Bowls across the nation,” saying four million people are estimated to travel to view it.

In many areas of the country, we are going to see traffic nightmares of absolutely epic proportions. And of course there is always a chance that clouds could ruin the viewing experience in a particular location. Some wealthy people are not taking any chances. It is being reported that certain individuals are paying up to $3,750 in order to view the eclipse from a plane…

Due to all of the eclipse tourists that are expected, some areas in the US and Canada have already declared a state of emergency for April 8th. A state of emergency has been declared in Niagara Region with thousands of people expected to head there to view the April 8 solar eclipse. “Declaring a state of emergency under the EMCPA strengthens the tools the region has at its disposal to safeguard the health and safety of residents and visitors and protect our critical infrastructure in any scenario that might arise,” the release said.

Israel has refused to comment on the airstrike. History also tells us that countries who attempt to accommodate the Palestinian issue have lived to regret it. Lebanon accommodated the Palestinian cause in 1969 only to witness, six years later, its role in the dissolution of the Lebanese state. Lebanon has never been the same.

The Paris Defence and Strategy Forum was held 13-14 March and attended by 2,600 participants from 68 countries. In his opening plenary speech Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda set the sober tone: “Just as Czechoslovakia did not satisfy Hitler; Ukraine will not satisfy Putin. Neither will the Baltic states or Poland… Russia cannot stop; it can only be stopped… (Otherwise) others will learn the lesson that using force against Western interests works… We cannot proceed in a peace-like mode any longer.”

Indeed, there is war in Europe, war in the Middle East, jihadist insurgency throughout Africa, rising tension across the Taiwan Strait, and Iran and North Korea threaten havoc upon their neighbors. It does appear that mere anarchy is loosed upon the world. World leader after world leader has warned that these are the most dangerous times of our lives. The growing uncertainty and fear is not unjustified.

We must awaken to a collapsing border policy, polarizing politics, convulsing economy, soaring inflation, vacillating stock market, staggering crime, pacifying statesmanship, accelerating drug abuse, trafficking humans, faltering education systems, declining civility, overwhelming debt, and other issues challenging America.

But our most serious deficiency is the lack of competent and responsible leaders. Our best recourse to overcome this is the dedication and commitment of the American people. “We The People” must act to restore what is good, decent, and honorable in America. If we fail to unite, our fate will be demise. United We Stand; Divided We Fall.
