Speaking about the current state of European affairs, he said Europe only became stronger and more inclined to stick together after the British voted to leave the EU in their landmark 2016 referendum. The 27-member bloc, he said, is steadily recovering from the crises it has faced since 2015, including the mass influx of refugees and the surprise election of Donald Trump as US president.

The veteran politician has consistently suggested that Europe become less dependent on its transatlantic ally in terms of military support. In June, he argued the European Union should cease “outsourcing” defense matters. “The protection of Europe can no longer be outsourced. Even our biggest military powers – and I could count them on one, maximum two – cannot combat all the challenges and threats alone,” he said at the Prague Defense and Security Conference.

Less than three percent of Europe’s troops are combat-ready and fit for deployment, he said, while alluding to the creation of European Defense Fund to conduct defense-related research. Juncker said Washington now believes “they are shouldering too much of the burden for their wealthy European allies,” which in turn should make Europe more pro-active in defending their interests.

Calls for a greater European military integration have also been voiced by other senior officials. Hans-Peter Bartels, the German parliament’s Commissioner for the Armed Forces, said in June “there will be a European army in the end,” destined to unite “disorganized, technically fragmented and duplicate structures.” 

Apple CEO Tim Cook pledged to donate $2 million to leftist groups in a memo condemning “racism and bigotry” following the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia last weekend. The tech company will donate $1 million to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), and another $1 million to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL); both being groups that have targeted conservative figures, publications and groups for years.

“What occurred in Charlottesville has no place in our country,” Cook wrote in the memo. “Hate is a cancer, and left unchecked it destroys everything in its path. It scars and lasts generations.” Despite clear evidence of violence initiated by the left, such as the bats, pepper spray and black masks, Cook insisted that their violence was justified.

“I disagree with the president and others who believe that there is a moral equivalence between white supremacists and Nazis, and those who oppose them by standing up for human rights. Equating the two runs counter to our ideals as Americans,” he wrote. Both the SPLC and ADL seemingly consider “hate” to be any point of view that disagrees with their leftist ideology, evidenced by past actions of both groups against conservatives and Republicans in the last few years.

The author of the petition said anti-fascists should be recognized as terrorists because of their “violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States.” He added that "terrorism is defined as the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims,” and urged the Pentagon to be “consistent in its actions.”

“Just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare Antifa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety,” the wording of the petition said. Antifa or the extreme left is known for its violent rivalry with white supremacists and other far-right groups across America.

President Trump came under fire following the Charlottesville events, as he initially stopped short of condemning the white supremacists and instead placed blame on ”all sides.” “What about the alt-left that came charging at, as you say, at the alt-right? Do they have any assemblage of guilt?” the US leader said. “What about the fact that they came charging with clubs in their hands swinging clubs? Do they have any problem? I think they do. That was a horrible, horrible day,” Trump added.

John Coleman says Al Gore started it — the “global warming silliness.” But now the retired weatherman and founder of The Weather Channel is “horrified” to see San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer channeling the ex-veep with a Climate Action Plan. It “just turns my stomach.”

“I think he saw money and power, and I don’t know what else he thought of it,” Coleman says of the Republican mayor. “I can’t believe he really [felt he] was going to save the city from some terrible fate.” Coleman, 82, laughs during a lively phone chat from his home near Las Vegas. “San Diego’s not going to go underwater. Period,” he says. “Not in my lifetime or yours or our kids’ lifetime. When the Earth ends in 4 1/2 billion years, it probably still won’t have flooded.”

Even far-left liberals like Evergreen State professor Bret Weinstein will be stripped of police protection solely because the mob called him a “racist.” If the liberal shock troops deem local Republicans “Nazis” — because some of them support the duly elected Republican president — Portland will cancel the annual Rose Festival parade rather than allow any Trump supporters to march.

They’re all “fascists”! Ipso facto, the people cracking their skulls and smashing store windows are “anti-fascists,” or as they call themselves, “antifa.” We have no way of knowing if the speakers at the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally last weekend were “Nazis,” “white supremacists,” or passionate Civil War buffs, inasmuch as they weren’t allowed to speak. The Democratic governor shut the event down, despite a court order to let it proceed.

We have only visuals presented to us by the activist media, showing some participants with Nazi paraphernalia. But for all we know, the Nazi photos are as unrepresentative of the rally as that photo of the drowned Syrian child is of Europe’s migrant crisis. Was it 1 percent Nazi or 99 percent Nazi?

As the “Unite the Right” crowd was dispersing, they were forced by the police into the path of the peace-loving, rock-throwing, fire-spraying antifa. A far-left reporter for The New York Times, Sheryl Gay Stolberg, tweeted live from the event: “The hard left seemed as hate-filled as alt-right. I saw club-wielding ‘antifa’ beating white nationalists being led out of the park.”

First in his class at West Point, hero of the Mexican War, Lee was the man to whom President Lincoln turned to lead his army. But when Virginia seceded, Lee would not lift up his sword against his own people and chose to defend his home state rather than wage war upon her. This veneration of Lee, wrote Richard Weaver, “appears in the saying attributed to a Confederate soldier, ‘The rest of us may have … descended from monkeys, but it took a God to make Marse Robert.'”

Growing up after World War II, this was accepted history. Yet, on the militant left today, the name Lee evokes raw hatred and howls of “racist and traitor.” A clamor has arisen to have all statues of him and all Confederate soldiers and statesmen pulled down from their pedestals and put in museums or tossed onto trash piles.

What has changed since 1965? It is not history. There have been no great new discoveries about Lee. What has changed is America herself. She is not the same country. We have passed through a great social, cultural and moral revolution that has left us irretrievably divided on separate shores.

Altogether three times, so far, Trump has been perfectly clear about his disdain for white supremacists but none of it counts for one reason. Because he is Donald Trump and they hate him and they hear him only from the filter of their own misconceptions, misinterpretations and prejudices.  Behind their high-minded moralizing lurks their animosity for one man, Trump.

He asked if founders George Washington and Thomas Jefferson are next to be toppled from our heritage and erased from our memories. In fact, next they want monuments of Theodore Roosevelt in New York City and of Frank Rizzo in Philadelphia obliterated. That’s only a partial list and in no particular order… and they, the vandals, sure enough call themselves Social Justice Warriors. 

We saw how anarchy plays at the UN when UNESCO passed resolutions denying Israel its sovereignty to its very own heritage as to the Temple Mount and the Cave of the Patriarchs. If Jewish Heritage, codified in every Bible, can be so easily trampled, our chances of freedom and tolerance in the United States aren’t much safer via our Constitution.

They – the Progressive vandals – they come with lofty words to commit the basest acts. They had their pretext in Virginia, but nearly every college campus is now owned and operated by the Violent Left. Conservative speakers have no chance. BDS, which torments Jews on and off campus, forms from the Radical Left. Why is Trump wrong to call them out?

To the well-fed well-paid (Soros) mobs of the Left, the game is fair so long as diversity is THEIR diversity and only when free speech is THEIR free speech, not yours or mine, If you seek relief from the media - well we know that’s no place for reasoned thinking or debate. Even Fox News has been taken over by Trump derangement panelists… and why exactly are they all dumping on him for Charlottesville? That’s because he won’t give them the satisfaction of blaming ONLY those despicable white supremacists. 

Hours ago, meanwhile, a statue of Lincoln was defaced in Manhattan. That too is the tyranny of forgetfulness. So what’s next from the Index of Forbidden Works that doomed millions from the Spanish Inquisition? Book burning? Mob Rule? Trump is right. Where does it end?

The promoters of the protest tell potential attendees: “We will meet at Sam Houston Park (right in front of Houston City hall) to demand that the City of Houston ERASE THE CONFEDERACY! It is a STAIN IN THE FABRIC of our history that needs to be removed.” Another part of the post says – “*Do NOT bring children.”

One of the organizers of the event, Black Lives Matter of Houston, tells protesters to meet at the “Spirit of the Confederacy Statute” at Sam Houston Park. Black Lives Matter: Houston, SURJ HTX, and public figure Ashton P Woods are promoting the event.

SURJ HTX says it is “focused on organizing white people for racial justice.” Its Facebook cover says, “WHITE PEOPLE: WHAT WILL YOU DO TO CHANGE YOUR LEGACY OF VIOLENCE?” Woods says his “work is centered around specific issues of Blackness, Race, Gender, Sexuality, HIV-AIDS, White Supremacy,” and other causes.

The media company is part-owned by Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox, and by A&E Networks, which is fully owned by Hearst Communications and Disney-ABC Television Group. According to Cooper:

"More than ever, old monuments to famous white American men are being threatened … [because] the only way we can help America fulfill her promise is by shedding the faith and facing the truth. A big part of that process probably involves taking those men we’ve placed so high and bringing them back down to Earth where we can judge them for who they really were… As long as we allow those men to be cults of personality who exist beyond reproach, we’re never going to be able to see them for all of their good and all of their evil."

The article’s headline was later changed to “Let’s Get Rid of Mount Rushmore.” Cooper argues that the nation’s historical markers and monuments help preserve a political system of racial exploitation and inequality, and should be erased to help build a new society.

The ad was posted by a company called "Crowds on Demand" and offered $25 per hour to "actors and photographers" to participate in events in the "Charlotte, NC area."  While the ad didn't explicitly define a role to be filled by its crowd of "actors and photographers" it did ask applicants to comment on whether they were "ok with participating in peaceful protests."

So what is "Crowds on Demand?"  According to their own website, they're in the business of sourcing large crowds of people to "provide clients with protests, rallies, [and] flash-mobs" all over the country.  They even have an entire page on their website dedicated to "Protests and Rallies." Silly question, but if your cause is worthy of protest then why would you need to pay $25 per hour to get people to show up?

In contrast, one person is killed after the hated Charlottesville protest event was over, and there is endless absurd outrage against the president of the US. Three New York Times presstitutes yesterday blamed the crisis on Trump, declaring him “increasingly isolated in a racial crisis of his own making.” Apparently, Trump is responsible for the crisis because he blamed both protest groups for the violence.

But isn’t that what happened? Wasn’t there violence on both sides? That was the impression I got from the news reporting. I’m not surprised that Trump got the same impression. Indeed, many readers have sent emails that they received the same impression of mutual violence. So Trump is being damned for stating the truth.

For decades the liberal/progressive/left has invested heavily in driving people apart. Black studies, women’s studies, and Native American studies can easily cross into propaganda that generates hatred. As a man of peace said, “a house divided against itself cannot stand.”

The hypocrisy is stunning. For 16 years the armed services chiefs, the New York Times and the rest of the presstitute media, both political parties and the liberal/progressive/left have participated actively or passively in massive crimes against humanity. There are millions of dead, maimed, and displaced people. Yet one death in Charlottesville has produced a greater outpouring of protest.

I don’t believe it is sincere. I don’t believe that people who are insensitive to the deaths of millions at the hands of their government can be so upset over the death of one person. Assume that Trump is responsible for the death of the woman. How much blood is it compared to the blood on the hands of Bill Clinton, George W Bush, and Obama? It seems clear enough that the outpouring of grief is an orchestration designed to deligitimize the president and the people who elected him.
