Merkel defends Iran deal

GERMANY - German Chancellor Angela Merkel drew lengthy applause Saturday for her spirited defense of a multilateral approach to global affairs and support for Europe’s decision to stand by a nuclear deal with Iran. US Vice President Mike Pence was not among the impressed, however, and he doubled down on American criticism of Europe.

Angela Merkel criticises US isolationism

GERMANY - Angela Merkel has turned her fire on America’s “home alone” policies, saying multilateral bodies cannot simply be smashed up, and warned the US president, Donald Trump, that Europe must not be excluded from discussions on future nuclear disarmament, Syria or trade. Warning of a collapse of the international order into tiny parts, the German chancellor said: “We cannot just smash it. We need to cooperate.”

Book Claims 80% of Vatican Prelates Are Gay

VATICAN - The Vatican hosts “one of the biggest homosexual communities in the world,” alleges French journalist Frédéric Martel in an upcoming book on the Catholic Church and homosexuality. The explosive exposé, titled In the Closet of the Vatican: Power, Homosexuality, Hypocrisy, will be released on February 21, the very day that Pope Francis has convoked leading bishops from around the world for a Vatican summit on clerical sex abuse.

Britain and America Sign Deal on Post-Brexit Trade

USA - The United Kingdom and the United States have signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement to ensure British-American trade continues seamlessly after Brexit, undercutting EU loyalists who claimed it would be damaged. The United Kingdom trades with the United States, its largest single trade partner and number one source of inward investment, largely on World Trade Organization (WTO) terms — a so-called “No Deal” situation — as the European Union has failed to strike a bilateral agreement. This WTO-based relationship is supplemented by a number of mini-agreements on things like regulatory standards, however, which Remainers had hitherto used to claim Brexit would deal a blow to British-American commerce.

Daughters come home from college with moustaches, breasts removed

USA - “The young woman went off to college — which began, as it often does these days, with an invitation to state her name, sexual orientation and ‘pronouns.’ When her anxiety flared during her first semester, she and several of her friends decided their angst had a fashionable cause: ‘gender dysphoria.’ Within a year, the lawyer’s daughter had begun a course of testosterone. Her real drug — the one that hooked her — was the promise of a new identity. A shaved head, boys’ clothes and a new name formed the baptismal waters of a female-to-male rebirth.” Rapid-onset gender dysphoria, which has been described as a “contagion,” has caught up with more and more mothers who are shocked when their formerly feminine daughters suddenly come home from college with mustaches, acne, different demeanors — even their breasts removed.

“Mother” is no longer gender specific

UK - A UK government lawyer has said that “mother” is no longer a gender specific term preserved only for women. The comments were made during a High Court hearing where a ‘transgender’ man born a woman gave birth to a child and is seeking to be named the father, rendering the baby legally motherless, reports The Telegraph. Government lawyers earlier in the hearing referenced civil servants who had suggested the parent, referred to as ‘TT’, could be named on the child’s birth certificate as “male mother.” Ben Jaffey QC, representing government ministers, cited this document and said, “the status of a mother is no longer gender specific.”

Americans Don’t Realize What Companies Can Predict from Their Data

USA - Sixty-seven percent of smartphone users rely on Google Maps to help them get to where they are going quickly and efficiently. A major feature of Google Maps is its ability to predict how long different navigation routes will take. That’s possible because the mobile phone of each person using Google Maps sends data about its location and speed back to Google’s servers, where it is analyzed to generate new data about traffic conditions.

Worldwide effort to restrict everyone's right to travel is close to a reality

USA - According to a recently published white paper there is a worldwide effort to restrict the right to travel of everyone. And you will not believe how the UN is involved. A recent article in Papers Please.org warns that the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) wants to check every airline passenger's background and send airlines an "Authority to Carry" before a passenger is allowed to board a plane.

Whitehead: Is It Too Late For Non-Violent Means To Restore American Liberty?

USA - There’s absolutely no evidence to support the statement that America is the greatest country in the world. We’re 7th in literacy, 27th in maths, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, 3rd in median household income, number 4 in labor force and number 4 in exports. We lead the world in only three categories: number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real and defense spending, where we spend more than the next 26 countries combined, 25 of whom are allies…

Donald Trump declares state of emergency

USA - Donald Trump has declared a state of emergency over the funding of the wall on the US border with Mexico, warning against an "invasion" in a White House speech filled with fiery rhetoric. "We’re going to be signing, today, and registering, a national emergency and it’s a great thing to do. We have an invasion of drugs, invasion of gangs and invasion of people. What we want to do is simple. We want to stop from coming into our country. We want to stop criminals and gangs coming into our country.” In a move which may hinder him during any future legal proceedings, Mr Trump admitted it was not necessary for him to call the state of emergency.

Tennessee: Move to Restore Full Legal Protections for Unborn

USA - Women lawmakers in Tennessee have introduced legislation that would restore full legal protections for unborn babies should Roe vs Wade be reversed. “It has always been the priority of Tennessee’s pro-life movement to restore the fullest possible protection to the largest number of unborn children and women in our state,” said Brian Harris, president of Tennessee Right to Life. “While states like New York are moving to strip any limits to abortion – even at the moments before birth – Tennessee wants to be known for protecting our children.”

29 States and DC Permit Abortions Full-Term Babies

USA - Why, I kept asking myself last week, are so many Americans so livid about Governor Andrew Cuomo (Democrat for New York) signing into law a bill passed jubilantly by the state legislature that makes it possible for women to abort full-term babies. Sure, the bill is morally repugnant and the jubilant applause by the legislature was grotesque, but 19 other states — including Illinois — allow full-term babies to be killed and for the same reasons.

Clicking on terrorist propaganda - 15 years in prison

UK - Anyone who views terrorist propaganda once online can be jailed for up to 15 years under new laws that have sparked human rights concerns. MPs had urged the government to scrap plans to criminalise viewing “information useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism”, which goes further than much-used laws that made physically collecting, downloading or disseminating the material illegal. A United Nations inspector accused the government of straying towards “thought crime” with the proposal, which originally stated that people would have to access propaganda “on three or more different occasions” to commit a terror offence. But the benchmark was removed from the draft law, meaning a single click is now illegal. Journalists, academic researchers or people who had “no reason to believe” they were accessing terrorist propaganda are exempt.

Yale University newspaper urges students to spy on WHITE classmates

USA - A “queer, black woman” who attends Yale University‘s Jonathan Edwards College and writes as a “Staff Columnist” for the school’s Yale Daily News paper – and who’s an openly anti-white racist – recently penned an op-ed calling on all Yale students to spy on their straight, white male classmates in order to collect any “evidence” that might destroy their careers later on in life.

Deepfakes 2.0: The terrifying future of AI and fake news

USA - Imagine seeing yourself in a porn video. Naked. Violated. Except you have no recollection of the act, of the room you’re in, partner you’re with, or the camera filming. That’s because it didn’t really happen, at least not to you. Or imagine seeing yourself in a video saying things you’ve never said before, controversial things, the sort of stuff that could cost you your job or alienate you from family and friends. The voice you hear is definitely yours, and so are the turns of phrase, but you have no recollection of what’s being said, and you’re horrified at what you hear.

“Just what is an APOSTLE?”
Just what is an Apostle?

Today we find the Church of God in a “wilderness of religious confusion!”

The confusion is not merely around the Church – within the religions of the world outside – but WITHIN the very heart of The True Church itself!

Listen to Me, You who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My Law: …I have put My words in your mouth, I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, “you are My people” (Isaiah 51:7,16)
