How Facebook Determines ‘Hate Agent’ Status

USA - The reason that Big Tech censorship seems so disjointed is because it is. Facebook gathers data about you from online and offline sources, determines all your associations, what posts you share, who you interview, who you ‘Like’ and then slaps you with a hate score. Once tagged as a ‘Hate Agent’, the designation will blacklist you for years to come. Once shared with other Big Tech companies, your blacklisting will become universal. TN Editor

USA: Heavy rains forecast for south-central Plains

USA - Much of the US is set to be hammered with days-long thunderstorms this weekend and into next week, reports AccuWeather. Heavy rain will put parts of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas at risk of flash floods and major river flooding. Parts of the region could receive 4 to 8 inches of rain, threatening crops. Rains and floods have already affected the growing season in agricultural areas in the Plains and Midwest, and the forthcoming storms could set farmers even further back. The Northeast and southern New England will also see ongoing severe weather that ranges from dangerously strong winds to mere showers that could disrupt Father's Day plans.

Oil tanker attacks echo Persian Gulf's 1980s 'Tanker War'

MIDDLE EAST - Mysterious attacks on oil tankers near the strategic Strait of Hormuz this week show how one of the world's crucial chokepoints for global energy supplies can be easily targeted, 30 years after the US Navy and Iran were entangled in a similarly shadowy conflict called the "Tanker War." While the current tensions are nowhere near the damage done then, it underscores how dangerous the situation is and how explosive it can become.

US Escalates Online Attacks on Russia’s Power Grid

USA – From the New York Times: The United States is stepping up digital incursions into Russia’s electric power grid in a warning to President Vladimir V Putin and a demonstration of how the Trump administration is using new authorities to deploy cybertools more aggressively, current and former government officials said. In interviews over the past three months, the officials described the previously unreported deployment of American computer code inside Russia’s grid and other targets as a classified companion to more publicly discussed action directed at Moscow’s disinformation and hacking units around the 2018 midterm elections.

Trump accuses New York Times of 'virtual act of Treason'

USA - President Trump late Saturday ramped up his attacks against The New York Times, accusing the newspaper of committing "a virtual act of Treason" over its report about the US increasing cyberattacks on Russia's electric power grid. "Do you believe that the Failing New York Times just did a story stating that the United States is substantially increasing Cyber Attacks on Russia," Trump tweeted. "This is a virtual act of Treason by a once great paper so desperate for a story, any story, even if bad for our Country." Trump claimed in a separate tweet that the story was "NOT TRUE!" "Anything goes with our Corrupt News Media today," he added. "They will do, or say, whatever it takes, with not even the slightest thought of consequence! These are true cowards and without doubt, THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!"

USA told it will Lose War with Iran

USA - Donald Trump’s USA boasts the most powerful armies the world has ever seen – but today military experts warned they would NEVER beat Iran in a military conflict even as the possibility of a hot war between Iran and the USA increased as British and US servicemen raced to the aid of two oil-tankers attacked off the Iranian coast in the Gulf of Oman. Military threats and sabre-rattling rhetoric have littered dialogue between the two nations in recent months with Iran’s foreign minister warning the US just hours ago it “cannot expect to stay safe” while Donald Trump counter-warned any conflict would be “the end of Iran”.

The Self-Destruction of American Power

USA - US hegemony in the post–Cold War era was like nothing the world had seen since the Roman Empire. Washington Squandered the Unipolar Moment. Sometime in the last two years, American hegemony died. What remains, then, are American ideas. The United States has been a unique hegemon in that it expanded its influence to establish a new world order, one dreamed of by President Woodrow Wilson and most fully conceived of by President Franklin Roosevelt.

Antarctic Stations Show Zero Warming Over Past Decades

ANTARCTICA - Over the past few years, climate alarmists have increasingly been resorting to weather-ambulance chasing, which has necessitated the trotting of the globe in the search of weather anomalies to use as proof of man-made climate change. But one place they have been avoiding like the plague is Antarctica as a number of studies have been showing the opposite of what was predicted to happen at the South Pole…

Electrical failure cuts power to all of Argentina and Uruguay

SOUTH AMERICA - A massive electrical failure has left all of Argentina and Uruguay without power, according to a major Argentine electricity provider. Reports said the power cut had also affected parts of Brazil and Paraguay. Argentine media said the power cut occurred shortly after 07:00 (12:00 GMT), causing trains to be halted and failures with traffic signalling. It came as people in parts of Argentina were preparing to go to the polls for local elections. The combined population of Argentina and Uruguay is about 48 million people. Social media reports of the power outage were widespread - from the capital Buenos Aires in the north, to Mendoza in the west and Comodoro Rivadavia in the south, among many other cities.

Boris Johnson surges in Tory leadership poll

UK - Boris Johnson’s progress towards Downing Street appeared inexorable last night as his most senior rivals began circling for jobs in his cabinet and a new poll showed that voters believe he is the only leadership candidate who can win the next election. Two of Boris Johnson’s rivals — Michael Gove and Sajid Javid — used interviews with The Sunday Times to issue coded job applications. The YouGov poll put the Brexit party in first place on 24%, three points ahead of the Conservatives and Labour, reinforcing Johnson’s case that the next prime minister will need to seize votes from Nigel Farage’s party. Some 47% of voters think Johnson can win the next election and only 22% disagree.

In Gold We Trust

RUSSIA - Governments around the world have recently been on a “gold-buying spree.” These countries have a tactful reason for doing so, and this reason is directly tied to the anticipation of the inevitable end of US hegemony. Central banks are among the largest purchasers of gold. So far in 2019, they have bought 145.5 tons of gold, which is more in a quarter of a year than central banks have purchased in the preceding six years. To put it bluntly, this figure represents a 68 percent increase from the year before. Last year, central banks increased their reserves by 651.5 tonnes compared to 375 tonnes in 2017. Reportedly, this is the largest net purchase of gold since 1967.

USA: Which Foods are Going to Be Scarce

USA - Floods are dangerous natural disasters. People and animals can be swept away and easily drown. Floods can carry bacteria and pollutants great distances. Floods can bust through levees and tear down bridges. Floods can also lead to food shortages when they destroy farms, like the recent floods in the Midwest have. ...To make matters worse, the potential for more floods in key agricultural states looms in front of us as more rain is predicted...

USA: What Caused the Floods

USA - So far, heavy flooding has impacted important agricultural states, including Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. From NOAA: “Additional spring rain and melting snow will prolong and expand flooding, especially in the central and southern US. As this excess water flows downstream through the river basins, the flood threat will become worse and geographically more widespread.

Tanker attacks: US blames Iran for explosions

USA - US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has blamed Iran for "unprovoked attacks" on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman. He said the US had made its assessment based on intelligence about the type of weapons used. A senior Iranian official earlier told the BBC "Iran has no connection" with the explosions on Thursday morning. Dozens of crew members were rescued after the blasts on the Japanese-owned Kokuka Courageous and the Front Altair, owned by Norway. Both Iran and the US said they evacuated the crew. The blasts in one of the world's busiest oil routes comes a month after four oil tankers were attacked off the United Arab Emirates. No group or country has admitted the incident in May, which also caused no casualties. The US at the time blamed Iran - but Tehran denied the accusations.

USA: Living In Their Vehicles Has Become “The New Normal”

USA - Once again tonight, countless numbers of Americans will sleep in their vehicles, and this is a problem that is getting worse with each passing year. According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the homeless population in the United States hit 552,830 in 2018, but many believe that the true number is actually a lot higher. Because in order to accurately count the homeless you have got to find them first, and many homeless do not want to be found. But even if the HUD figure is accurate, it is still a great national tragedy to have such a high number of homeless, and a large percentage of those homeless Americans are living in their vehicles.

“Just what is an APOSTLE?”
Just what is an Apostle?

Today we find the Church of God in a “wilderness of religious confusion!”

The confusion is not merely around the Church – within the religions of the world outside – but WITHIN the very heart of The True Church itself!
