USA - US Military chiefs have been ordered to reveal whether they used diseased TICKS in sick biological warfare experiments. A bill passed in the House of Representatives requires the Pentagon to investigate whether researchers infected the insects in the 1970s - and if any were let loose. It comes after a bombshell new book claims the Defence Department was behind the spread of Lyme Disease between 1950 and 1975. Congressman Chris Smith - who added the amendment to a military spending bill said: "We need answers and we need them now."
USA - Democratic voters who watched their prospective 2020 presidential candidates over two nights last week were likely enthused by all the free stuff that was being promised. Even to people who aren’t American citizens. In addition to pledging free healthcare for illegal aliens, virtually all 20-odd candidates mentioned new ‘freebie’ programs they would try to enact if they manage to knock off POTUS Donald Trump next year. No more college debt. A “Green New Deal.” “Medicare-for-All.”
EUROPE - Ursula von der Leyen faces a final desperate bid to convince the European Parliament to support her bid to become the next president of the European Commission and avert an "institutional crisis". The German defence minister spent the weekend holed-up in her temporary Brussels office working on a plan to win the backing of MEPs in a confirmatory vote on her presidency bid on Tuesday. Under the EU’s rules, Ms von der Leyen, 60, must secure at least 374 votes before she can be crowned as the first woman head of the European Commission. In a bid to seize control of the bloc’s policies for the next five years, MEPs have used the finely-balanced contest to extort political promises from the 60-year-old. Green and socialist MEPs have publicly signalled that they will not offer their support when the vote is held tomorrow evening. They have warned that the German’s programme, which she set out to political groups last week, lacks ambition.
ISRAEL - Israeli politician Yair Lapid on Saturday challenged the US to boot Turkey from the F-35 stealth fighter program for taking delivery of advanced Russian air defense systems in defiance of US warnings. Russia’s S-400 is considered one of the most advanced and feared air-defense systems in the world. The US has long argued Turkey’s purchase of the Russian system not only risks the security of NATO members, it also violates the 2017 law threatening sanctions for any purchase of sophisticated Russian technology — the Countering Russian Influence in Europe and Eurasia Act of 2017. “The US has to cancel the F-35 deal with Turkey, otherwise nothing will stand in Turkey and Iran’s way as they learn how to neutralize America’s most advanced weaponry,” Lapid tweeted.
UK - Reports suggest that Tory leadership favourite Boris Johnson may purge Remainers opposed to delivering Brexit, deal or no deal, from his Cabinet. The former Foreign Secretary and two-time Mayor of London is concerned that staunch anti-Brexiteers such as Amber Rudd, who now say they would serve under a Prime Minister Johnson, are only doing so in hopes they will be able to dissuade him from leaving the EU on No Deal terms if the bloc will not agree to a less onerous withdrawal agreement than the one offered to Theresa May. “[Johnson] knows his top priority is to deliver Brexit by October 31st — or the wheels will come off the bus,” a source described as a “senior ally” told The Sun. “Over the next few days he needs to pick ministers who are united in their desire to get us over the line come what may. Fail and we’re stuck in the road — and Boris is finished.”
ISRAEL - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday warned of a “crushing” attack on Lebanon in response to any military action from Lebanese group Hezbollah. In an interview with Hezbollah’s Al-Manar television on Friday, group leader Hassan Nasrallah said key Israeli sites were in the range of Hezbollah’s rockets. “Over the weekend we heard Nasrallah’s arrogant words about his attack plans,” Netanyahu said at the beginning of the weekly government meeting, adding: “Let me be clear that if Hezbollah dares to commit an act of stupidity and attack Israel — we will deal a crushing military blow on Lebanon.”
USA - In recent years, some religious leaders have worked to appease the ideology promoted by abortion activists, but it seems a few are going as far as blessing abortion clinics in person. Clergy members in Austin, Texas, traveled to a local abortion clinic on Tuesday, where they offered “words of solidarity, compassion and love for those who work in the clinic and those who receive its care,” according to The Blaze. On the Whole Woman’s Health Alliance (WWHA) Facebook page, the group detailed the interaction by these religious leaders — made up of Christians Jews, and others — saying words of encouragement were offered up by all. WWHA mentioned that the time spent with clergy was “complete with ritual, poetry, singing and insight.” The abortion organization expressed their desire to “break away from the perception that religious communities are opposed to abortion.”
USA - Marisa Rivas never felt comfortable living as a woman, but doesn’t identify as a man either. Last year, Rivas, 30, a college admissions coordinator in Los Angeles, had a mastectomy. This year, Rivas started using gender-neutral “they” and “them” pronouns. Then, at the end of June, Rivas went to the Los Angeles LGBT Center in West Hollywood to talk to a doctor about going on “low-dose” testosterone, known colloquially as “microdosing.” Rivas hopes to achieve a sharper jawline and a more androgynous physique without overtly masculine features like facial hair. The goal is an appearance that is not clearly male or female. “I still want to be somewhere in the middle,” Rivas said.
USA - If even a small fraction of those UFO lovers show up to try and break ‘them aliens’ free from the secret desert facility, the ‘Area 51 raid’ joke risks spilling into one of the largest civil disobedience events ever in the US. Over a million alien fans now registered as ‘going’ – and nearly the same number in reserve, just ‘interested’ in the raid – the US Air Force could find itself facing off against an unprecedented number of unarmed individuals. “We would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area,” an Air Force spokeswoman previously said, expressing hope that UFO enthusiasts understand that an attempted breach of a military installation is no laughing matter.
USA - A Natural News investigation into the geolocation of nuclear power facilities in California reveals that five nuclear facilities were built in close proximity to the San Andreas fault line, with some constructed right in the middle of earthquake zones that have up to a 50% chance of a severe earthquake every 30 years. One nuclear power plant – the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant which produces 2,160 megawatts — was constructed on the coast, making it extremely vulnerable to the very same kind of ocean water surge that destroyed the Fukushima-Daiichi facility which suffered a 2011 meltdown in Japan. California’s Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant is positioned on the coastline in the exact same way, making it highly vulnerable to underwater earthquakes or other events such as underwater caldera explosions that can produce massive tsunami waves.
USA - The Four Horsemen of Banking (Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup and Wells Fargo) own the Four Horsemen of Oil (Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch/Shell, BP and Chevron Texaco); in tandem with Deutsche Bank, BNP, Barclays and other European old money behemoths. But their monopoly over the global economy does not end at the edge of the oil patch. According to company 10K filings to the SEC, the Four Horsemen of Banking are among the top ten stock holders of virtually every Fortune 500 corporation.
USA - Within the last 48 hours we have seen large earthquakes going off like firecrackers all along the Ring of Fire. A magnitude 6.1 quake just hit Japan, a magnitude 6.6 quake just hit Australia and a magnitude 7.3 earthquake just hit Indonesia. And of course all of this comes just about a week after southern California was hit by the two largest earthquakes that it has experienced in more than two decades. So is all of this shaking unusual?
USA - In a three-tweet tirade, President Donald Trump told progressive congresswomen to go back to their “totally broken and crime infested” countries of origin and sneered at the infighting rocking the Democratic Party. “So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run,” the president tweeted on Sunday.
“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,” he continued. Trump’s tweet targeted... New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib, Minnesota’s Ilhan Omar, and Massachusetts’ Ayanna Pressley.
USA - President Donald Trump took to Twitter Sunday evening to slam the far-left Democrats who have come to the defense of those who “speak so badly of our country.” In one of his shared tweets, Trump claimed far-left Democrats defend those who “hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion.” “So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion,” Trump wrote. “Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, ‘RACIST.'” “Their disgusting language and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged,” Trump continued.
ITALY - Matteo Salvini… They call him Il Capitano. No Italian can fail to hear an echo of Mussolini’s nickname, Il Duce. Critics see neo-fascist overtones everywhere. Mr Salvini has been the most powerful man in Italy since shortly after he became a deputy prime minister in June last year. His relentless rise in the opinion polls, and the League’s stunning victory at the European Parliament elections in May, mean that he, more than anyone, makes the political weather.
