For the most part, it can easily feel like no one cares about you anymore. Your skills are ubiquitous, you have no true community, and God doesn’t exist. So what, you may ask, is exactly the point? We have created a society that now offers almost none of the things that make people truly happy. Family, community, spiritual belonging — these are the foundational and primal building blocks of human happiness, and they are rapidly disappearing.

With the destruction of the family, the church, and the community, the reasons people have traditionally had for their very existence are in danger of receding into the past. And the outcome is predictable: isolation, depression, anxiety, despondency, drug abuse, and death. Destroy the family, abandon the community, raze the church to the ground.

What could go wrong?

Everything.

Let’s start with 1929. As I repeatedly remind my readers, most large stock market crashes tend to happen during the fall, and on October 29th, 1929 there was a devastating stock market crash unlike anything that the United States had ever seen before. That date is generally considered to be the start of the Great Depression

1939 was the year when World War II started. It was the most catastrophic war that the world has ever seen, and it didn’t end until 1945. It is estimated that somewhere between 70 million and 85 million people were killed…

1949 was a year of great change, and it was really when the battle lines of the Cold War between the east and the west definitely solidified. During this year, the Communist Party of China was able to take full control of mainland China... it was the year of the Berlin blockade, and NATO was formed.

1959 was the year when Fidel Castro came to power. Thanks to the success of the Cuban revolution, Cuba became the first communist power in the western hemisphere…

1969... The Year Everything Changed. It was the year of the Moon landing, Woodstock and the Manson murders. During this year Richard Nixon was sworn in as the president of the United States, 250,000 Americans marched on Washington to protest the Vietnam War, and the Palestine Liberation Organization was founded.

1979 was the year of the Iranian Revolution. Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini came to power in February, and the Iranian hostage crisis began in November... 1979 was also the year when Margaret Thatcher first became prime minister of the UK.

1989 was another year of revolution. In June of that year the pro-democracy protests in Tiananmen Square in Beijing were brutally crushed by the Chinese government. George H W Bush was sworn in as the president of the United States during this year, and huge protests on both sides of the Berlin Wall ultimately resulted in the collapse of the East German government.

1999 was the year when Bill Clinton came very close to being removed from office. On February 12th, the United States Senate narrowly acquitted Clinton of perjury and obstruction of justice. 1999 was also the year when the euro become the official currency of the European Union...

2009 was definitely a year of “change”. On January 20th, Barack Obama became the first African-American to become the president of the United States. Meanwhile, the nation was greatly suffering from the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s. It is estimated that 8.8 million jobs were lost during the “Great Recession”, and millions of Americans also lost their homes as a result of the subprime mortgage meltdown.

So now here we are in another year that ends in 9. So far in 2019, we have seen mass shootings, crop failures, dramatic escalations in our trade war with China, and a potential war with Iran is looming on the horizon. Americans are angrier, more frustrated and more divided today than ever before in modern American history, and the mainstream media continues to stir the pot on a daily basis. The stage is definitely set for things to explode during the second half of this year, and a lot of people that I have been talking to feel like things could really start breaking loose at any moment. To a large degree, 2019 has already been a year of tremendous upheaval, but many believe that the worst is still yet to come.

Meanwhile, China is also hoarding gold. In fact, July was the eighth month in a row in which the Chinese increased their reserves… China bought nearly 10 tons of gold in July, marking the eighth consecutive month the country increased its reserves, Bloomberg reported Wednesday morning. The purchase is another signal from China that it’s gearing up for a prolonged trade conflict with the US. Gold serves as a historic safe-haven investment, and its price typically rises when markets and other currencies see increased volatility or prolonged weakness.

So why are the Chinese suddenly stocking up on everything? Well, the truth is that the answer to that question is quite obvious. The trade war between the United States and China is rapidly escalating, war in the Middle East could erupt at any time, the global economy has been steadily slowing down, crops are failing all over the planet, and everywhere we look we seem to see rising political instability.

In fact, we even see it in China’s own backyard. After weeks of unprecedented political protests in Hong Kong, it looks like we could be right on the verge of a brutal crackdown. The relative stability that we have been enjoying for the past several years is ending, and it appears that the months ahead could potentially be quite chaotic.

People often talk about the so-called wealth gap, but what if the very money you have in your wallet (if the government hasn’t yet taken it) is what’s creating the problem in the first place? Tim Picciott goes into how central banks and vast debt creates vast poverty as the middle class is destroyed and inflation runs rampant. The employment numbers are skewed by the government as it doesn’t count the labor force participation rate which makes up for an alarming amount of unemployment.

As the Fed lowers interest rates this problem is only going to get worse. The currency is in a state of crisis and the dollar will crash. It’s been papered over with debt for years and that debt has been carried over to the consumer and the overall price of living. It may be history’s greatest con job. "Out of sensitivity to the attention on the country’s recent shooting tragedies, Universal Pictures and the filmmakers of 'The Hunt' have temporarily paused its marketing campaign and are reviewing materials as we move forward," a Universal Pictures spokesperson told Fox News late Wednesday.

DePauw University professor and media critic Jeffrey McCall told Fox News that the movie is “harmful to a culture that surely needs messages of unity and understanding” during the current climate. “It says something sad about the state of the ‘entertainment’ industry that this movie ever got conceived and produced. Hollywood clearly thinks it is OK to stereotype so-called deplorables and set them up for a hunt,” McCall said. “Thank heavens some sensible outlets are pulling the promotional ads.”

Political satirist Tim Young makes a living by poking fun at topical issues but thinks “The Hunt” goes over the line. “Why would anyone think it's a great idea to have a movie about hunting down someone who doesn't agree with them politically? It's remarkable to me that the left blames Donald Trump's rhetoric for violence, then literally spends millions to normalize the killing of people based on politics,” Young told Fox News.

Across the Atlantic, the UK is grappling with an epidemic of its own. A routine traffic stop in London on Wednesday night turned bloody when a driver turned on police officers and allegedly hacked them with a machete, an incident becoming more familiar to the city’s law enforcement officers. This surge in knife crime saw London’s murder rate overtake that of New York last year, while across England and Wales, 43,516 knife crime offenses were recorded in the 12 months ending March 2019. 67 people have been murdered in London in the first six months of this year and, according to statistics released in May, five young people are attacked with a knife every day in the British capital.

In both countries, politicians have been accused of doing nothing. US President Donald Trump has been bashed by Democrats for refusing to push for tough gun control legislation, while London Mayor Sadiq Khan has been accused of ignoring the rise in knife crime, often singled out by Trump himself. Against the seemingly impossible task of curbing the violence, there is one solution that nobody in either country seems to have tried: talking to the young men most often responsible for the murders. In the US, a Secret Service report last year found that the average mass shooter is white, male, and has a history of mental illness.

An LA Times opinion piece by two criminal justice professors who studied mass shootings since the 1960s states that these killers were often pushed to action by mental health crises, following drawn-out bouts of depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. “Proactive violence prevention,” they recommend, “starts with schools, colleges, churches and employers initiating conversations about mental health.”

Tariffs are another area affected by a no deal exit from the European Union. The UK is pledging to eliminate import taxes on goods coming into the UK, which are known as tariffs, which means European firms do not have to worry about their products becoming much more costly to import. The EU believes it is prepared for a no deal exit having passed European-wide legislation that will apply for a temporary period in its most important sectors such as road haulage, aviation and some financial services. The countries that will be the worst hit by a no deal exit are those who have close trading relationships with the UK.

This predominantly includes France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Ireland who have directed funds to new facilities and hired hundreds of new customs officers in a bid to prevent any problems. The largest impact for the EU is that the UK would no longer contribute towards the EU budget, a figure which currently costs the country roughly around £9 billion each year.

Social media played a key role in helping him win in 2016, but since that time we have seen an unprecedented wave of censorship on the major social media platforms, and most of that censorship has been directed at conservative voices. If President Trump doesn’t do something, it is hard to see how he will win in 2020, and of course that is precisely what the leftist executives at the big social media companies want.

Ultimately, it would take an act of Congress to do everything that needs to be done, but President Trump should be applauded for trying to do what he can on his own. Apparently Politico was able to speak to three separate sources that are familiar with the drafting of this new executive order, and after speaking to all of them Politico came to the conclusion that the Trump administration is very serious about “wielding the federal government’s power against Silicon Valley”…

Where is Kashmir? Kashmir is due north of India, north-east of Pakistan, and to the west of the People’s Republic of China. Ownership of the region begrudgingly shared between these three countries. Although thoroughly disputed, India occupies half of the territory, Pakistan controls one third, and the PRC controls the leftover portion.

One enduring issue of partition is the status of Kashmir, which is surrounded by India, Pakistan, and the People’s Republic of China. The Indian Independence Act, which was drawn up by the British government, left the region free to align with either India or Pakistan in 1947. Hari Singh, ruler of Kashmir in 1947, chose to join India, which ignited a bitter war from 1947 to 1949. Following two more wars over the region in 1965 and 1999, three countries now lay claim to different parts of Kashmir.
