Olympic organizers have defended the opening show. “We imagined a ceremony to show our values and our principles so we gave a very committed message,” Paris 2024 President Tony Estanguet told reporters on Saturday. “The idea was to really trigger a reflection. We wanted to have a message as strong as possible.”

“Our idea was inclusion,” added Thomas Jolly, the ceremony’s artistic director. “We wanted to talk about diversity. Diversity means being together. We wanted to include everybody.” The Olympics Committee said the performance was an “interpretation of the Greek God [of wine and festivity] Dionysus” to make “us aware of the absurdity of violence between human beings”.

A spokesman for the Paris Olympic Committee said: “Clearly, there was never an intention to show disrespect towards any religious group or belief. On the contrary, each of the tableaux in the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony were intended to celebrate community and tolerance.”

In order to terrify the population they invented the concept of “global warming” (later changed to the more easily defended “climate change”) as an excuse for a wide range of controlling mechanisms designed to encourage those whom they succeeded in brainwashing to help them promote a series of destructive proposals which would, without the fake threat of “climate change” be dismissed as dangerous nonsense but which would, when offered as the only solution to the fake threat, be accepted as essential and unavoidable.

It is absurd and dangerous that it should be suggested that we abandon fossil fuels and to suggest that we go “cold turkey” is nothing short of insane. To do so would mean being prepared to alter every aspect of our lives. Without fossil fuels, we will have very little food, no schools, no hospitals, very little transport (except what is provided by horses and bicycles), no computers, no television, no magazines or newspapers, no air conditioning, no mobile phones, little or no lighting, little or no heating and little or no cooking. Like it or not we will be dragged back to the 19th century.

Solar panels and windmills will not stop this happening. I wonder how many of those who support the idea of “NET ZERO” know what will happen. The world we know is about to come to an end but ninety-nine people in a hundred have no idea just how bad things are going to become; partly because no one has ever told them and partly because they have been warned not to listen to anyone trying to tell them the truth.

Called the Sustainable Farming Incentive (“SFI”), the scheme is made up of a set of specified standards and is open to all farmers and occupiers with management control. It is one of three that make up the environmental land management (“ELM”) schemes, which replaced the European Union’s Common Agricultural Policy.

The ELM schemes have the stated aim of “support[ing] the rural economy while achieving the goals of the 25 Year Environment Plan and A COMMITMENT TO NET ZERO CARBON EMISSIONS BY 2050.” This alone tells us that the schemes have dubious origins and motives.

Because in doing that, I’ve not got to buy fertiliser – which since the Ukraine war it’s gone from £250 a tonne to £1,000 a tonne, so in order to fertilise your food I’ve got to buy fertiliser at £1,000 a tonne. So, I’ve now got a crop that I don’t have to spray, I don’t have to send nobody out there with a tractor, I don’t have to fertilise it or I can just leave it in the ground to rot.”

Ed Miliband, the Energy Secretary, said the £8.3 billion investment in GB Energy was vital to meet the “huge challenges” the country faced, including the climate crisis, which was “not a future threat but a present reality”.

“In an unstable world, the only way to guarantee our energy security and protect billpayers permanently is to speed up the transition away from fossil fuels and towards home-grown clean energy,” he said. “That is why making Britain a clean energy superpower by 2030 is one of the Prime Minister’s five missions, with the biggest investment in home-grown clean energy in British history.”

Finally, you are the face of the migration pact and I address you as a woman, mother to mother. How can you not be ashamed, promoting something like the Migration Pact, which leads to millions of women and children in Europe feeling threatened on the streets of their own cities?

You are responsible for every rape, every assault, for every tragedy caused by the influx of illegal migrants, because it is you who is inviting these people to Europe. You should go to prison for what you have done, not to the European Commission. Your presence as the head of the European Commission is the further downfall of the European Union.

We want a Europe of free and sovereign nations, not a sick, leftist ideology. And from Poland, hands off and to all the soldiers who are defending the eastern border of the European Union, you should bow in tas. Thank you."

Until last October, Hungary led this charge alongside Poland. That was until the EU’s blue-eyed boy Donald Tusk managed to squeak through and form a rainbow coalition. Still, it is testimony to how conservative Poland remains that Tusk’s government, like Orban’s, refuses to sign up to a new EU migration pact.

Meanwhile, Orban is increasingly counting on newfound support from Slovakia, led by nationalist Robert Fico – a man who, like Donald Trump, recently survived an assassination attempt. One wonders how much longer the unhappy marriage between the “two Europes” can continue, especially between Budapest and Brussels.

Coastal areas of southern Florida are very popular among the homeless because the nights never get too cold even during the winter. But there are plenty of other hazards, and just trying to stay alive can be a real struggle. Of course the west coast is dealing with an even greater crisis. This is what a collapsing society looks like.

Poverty and hunger are spreading like wildfire, and the deplorable conditions in many of our core urban areas are being openly mocked all over the globe. In fact, in China they are actually “producing documentaries on the collapse of American cities”. Our system is fundamentally flawed, and decades of really bad decisions have brought us to a breaking point.

One of the primary reasons why so many people are forced to live in the streets is because housing has become ridiculously unaffordable. If you can believe it, there are now 237 US cities where “buyers will find a price tag of $1 million or more on the typical starter home”. Who can afford to pay a million bucks for a “starter home”? This is what rampant inflation has done to us.

Sadly, conditions are only going to get worse all over the nation because our economic momentum is rapidly taking us in the wrong direction. For example, we just learned that credit card delinquency rates have risen to the highest level ever recorded… And another major retailer just went bankrupt and is closing lots of stores.

The “false left/right paradigm” is dead, at least when it comes to average American citizens. The political left is not just an innocent subset of the population being led astray by false leadership – They are a big part of the problem. They are willing participants in the destruction of the west. Globalists would get nowhere on economic centralization, the DEI agenda, the trans agenda, carbon taxation, anti-2A legislation, open borders, etc without help from a large portion of leftists.

In the long run the left’s violence and hysteria is only inspiring conservatives to respond with aggression in kind. This is where the potential for civil conflict arises. Meanwhile, if Trump enters office again the rioting America dealt with in 2020 will be a cakewalk compared to 2025. Progressives claim they are “protecting democracy” but you will see very quickly that as soon as democracy doesn’t go their way they will abandon it in a heartbeat and seek to prevail using other methods.

This means a campaign of “monkey wrenching” followed by riots, looting and disruptions in major cities. Right now the US is a powderkeg waiting to go off and the coming election period will be the fuse.

Why has this taken so long to be recognized widely, as we are experiencing since the debate? Look no further than the Democratic Party leadership, in conjunction with a very willing mainstream media. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) did everything in its power to hide American voters from alternatives to the president throughout the nominating process.

Democrats successfully, along with the mainstream media, boxed out Robert Kennedy Jr and Dean Phillips from participating in any honest forms of debate during a rigged primary process. Nor would they allow other opinions on their policy and leadership to be heard by the American electorate.

In effect, they allowed only one “approved” candidate to be put forth. So much for allowing the core democratic principle of people voting for change when a leadership change was clearly needed, and known to be needed, over a year ago.

The Beijing Declaration was signed at the closing ceremony of a reconciliation dialogue among 14 Palestinian factions held in China's capital from July 21-23, according to the readout. The meeting marked the latest attempt to heal the Palestinian national schism that has defied all attempts at mediation since 2007, when the Islamist group Hamas seized the Gaza Strip in a brief civil war with Fatah.
