“Much of what we take for granted today we can thank him for: that Eastern and Western Europe are united, that we have a common market, that there are no border controls between EU states and that most of them share a common currency,” said Angela Merkel, the current chancellor whom Kohl gave her first cabinet post. “The EU in its present form - that’s for the most part a legacy of Helmut Kohl.”

Kohl became a champion of the common currency over the objections of most German voters and part of the political establishment. He cited the euro as a symbol of Germany’s duty to Europe in the shadow of its Nazi past.

As the elite get governments around the globe in increasing amounts of debt, those governments must raise taxes in order to keep servicing those debts.  In the end, it is all about taking money from us and transferring it into government pockets, and then taking money from government pockets and transferring it into the hands of the elite. 

It is a game that has been going on for generations, and it is time for humanity to say that enough is enough. According to the Institute of International Finance, global debt has now reached a new all-time record high of 217 trillion dollars… Never before in human history has our world been so saturated with debt.

"A new bill seeks to track your money and assets incessantly, will enjoin any business with government ties to act as a de facto arm of DHS, and would steal all of your assets — including Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies — should you fail to report funds when traveling with over $10,000.

Under the guise of combating money laundering, Senate Bill 1241, “Combating Money Laundering,” ramps up regulation of digital currency and other autocratic financial controls in an attempt to ensure none of your assets can escape one of the State’s most nefarious, despised powers: civil asset forfeiture.

Civil forfeiture grants the government robbery writ large: your cash, property, and assets can be stolen completely sans due process, your guilt — frequently pertaining to — matters not. A court verdict of not guilty doesn’t even guarantee the return of State-thefted property.”

In the Bible, in Deuteronomy 16:16, God commands all Jews to make their way to the Temple three times a year. Israel's Minister of Transportation, Yisroel Katz had a meeting with the Temple Movement representatives in February. He said that as a Kohen (Jew of the priestly caste) he has a special connection to the holy site. He added that in front of his eyes, he constantly sees the word "Prepare the way, prepare the way..." He is now constructing the line of the fast train between the airport in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to facilitate the pilgrimage as well to the Temple.

Yaakov Hayman, the Chairman of the Friends of the temple organization, said that the Minister's plan was an essential first step. He further said that they expect millions of Jews coming to the Temple Mount even before the Temple is built, so the transportation is a potential bottleneck. He added that they need to open more entrances to the Temple Mount because there is only one entrance available to the Jews, as Breaking Israel News noted.

"What we are seeing is to prepare the way for Jews to go up to the Temple Mount," said Hayman. He further said that when the Temple is built, the changes will be even greater.

When Trump talks about a border wall or a travel ban, the elite hate that because they ultimately want a world where national borders have been made meaningless.  And when Trump talks about tearing up trade agreements that really freaks them out because they have been working very hard to try to merge the economies of the planet into a single global economic system. 

Worst of all for the globalists was when Trump pulled out of the Paris climate agreement.  For decades the elite have been using such international agreements to impose their values on the entire planet, and now the leader of the most powerful nation in the world is standing up to them.

There is, however, growing opposition to the American standard, and it gained more support recently when several Gulf states suddenly blockaded Qatar, which they accused of funding terrorism. Despite the mainstream narrative, there are several other reasons why Qatar is in the crosshairs.

Over the past two years, it conducted over $86 billion worth of transactions in Chinese yuan and has signed other agreements with China that encourage further economic cooperation. Qatar also shares the world’s largest natural gas field with Iran, giving the two countries significant regional influence to expand their own trade deals.

Meanwhile, uncontrollable debt and political divisions in the United States are clear signs of vulnerability. The Chinese and Russians proactively set up alternative financial systems for countries looking to distance themselves from the Federal Reserve.  After the IMF accepted the yuan into its basket of reserve currencies in October of last year, investors and economists finally started to pay attention. The economic power held by the Federal Reserve has been key in financing the American empire, but geopolitical changes are happening fast. The United States’ reputation has been tarnished by decades of undeclared wars, mass surveillance, and catastrophic foreign policy.

One of America’s best remaining assets is its military strength, but it is useless without a strong economy to fund it. Rival coalitions like the BRIC nations are not challenging the established order head on and are instead opting to undermine its financial support. Qatar is just the latest country to take steps to bypass the US dollar. Russia made headlines in 2016 when they started accepting payments in yuan and took over as China’s largest oil partner, stealing a huge market share from Saudi Arabia in the process. Iran also dropped the dollar earlier this year in response to President Trump’s travel ban. As the tide continues to turn against the petrodollar, eventually even our allies will start to question what best serves their own interests.

Economist and author James Rickards summarized why China and Russia are so interested in acquiring precious metals: They are stuck with their dollars. They fear, rightly, that the US will inflate its way out of its $19 trillion mountain of debt. China’s solution is to buy gold. If dollar inflation emerges, China’s Treasury holdings will devalue, but the dollar price of its gold will soar. A large gold reserve is a prudent diversification.  Russia’s motives are geopolitical.

Gold is the model 21st century weapon for financial wars.  The US controls dollar payments systems and, with help from European allies, can eject adversaries from the international payments system called Swift. Gold is immune to such assaults. Physical gold in your custody cannot be hacked, erased, or frozen. Moving gold is a simple way for Russia to settle accounts without US interference.

Unfortunately for CNN, they are going to discover that once your credibility is gone it is incredibly difficult to ever get it back. On Tuesday, Project Veritas made headlines all over the world when it released undercover video of CNN Producer John Bonifield admitting that CNN’s Russia narrative is fake news. 

Now that this video has been made public, I don’t see how CNN is ever going to recover from this.  When one of your top producers admits that the story you have been pushing for months is basically a load of cow manure, it is impossible to maintain the pretense that you are a legitimate news organization any longer…

If this doesn’t kill “the Russia story”, I don’t know what will. This whole thing has been a massive charade from the very beginning, and the big news networks have been endlessly pushing it for ratings. In their zeal to destroy Trump, they have “jumped the shark” and have destroyed their own credibility instead.

Once upon a time, most mainstream journalists at least attempted to pretend that they were being objective, but those days are long gone. Today, it is absolutely imperative for all of us to understand that everyone has an agenda.  In other words, every single person that you see on television is trying to get a message across.  So instead of taking in news and entertainment passively, we need to have our filters up and we need to be thinking for ourselves.

Founder Tom Canham told the Bristol Post he has already managed to recruit 30 drag queens who are eager to take part in the project, which will see men dressed as women reading aloud “feminist fairytales and gender fluid novels for young children”. He said: “For me the project is about drag queens providing fun and inclusive reading for children about issues around misogyny, homophobia, racism, LGBTQ and gender fluidity in a way which they can understand.”

“Racism, homophobia, misogyny and the like are all learnt behaviours – we aren’t born with any form of hatred, you get taught it over time. And if projects like these can go some small way to helping prevent or curtail that, then it can only be a good thing.”

Canham said that whilst most people have responded positively to the project, it has received backlash from a minority of critics who have accused him of being a paedophile and encouraging children to think they are homosexual.

The 25-year-old call centre worker asserted that such comments are the “kind of negativity we are trying to change” with the project. The scheme’s aim, according to its crowdfunding campaign page, is to “capture the imagination and fun of the gender fluidity of childhood, while giving children a glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role model”.

Until now, the bloody battle for the Temple Mount has been fought between Muslims and Jews, but a new awakening among some Christians to its significance is creating a shifting pre-Messianic reality at the already volatile site. The developing status of Christians on the Temple Mount played out a few weeks ago in a Muslim-Christian confrontation that nearly ended in violence.

The Temple Mount showdown involved Nate Waller, Director of Operations at Hayovel, an organization which brings Christian volunteers to Israel to fulfill Biblical prophecy by working on vineyards in Samaria. As a frequent visitor to the Temple Mount, Waller’s connection to the site is an increasingly  important part of his belief – and he thinks other Christians should see it that way, too.

“When I first started visiting the Temple Mount, I didn’t understand the holiness of the place,” Waller told Breaking Israel News. “I used to walk all around the site, like all the other Christian tourists. I would go to the site of the actual Temple, something that is forbidden for Jews to do.”

Through his close work with religious Jews, Waller began to understand the significance of the site. “Christians generally believe that God’s presence has left the Temple Mount since the destruction of the Temple,” Waller explained. “From the Jews, I am just now beginning to understand that this is still the place of God’s name, and His name has not been removed.”

Yaakov Hayman, Chairman of the United Temple Movements, encourages this awakening and sees it as having a significant place in the Third Temple. Hayman’s organization has brought a suit in the Israeli High Court to bring this vision of a House of Prayer for all nations to reality. “It is frightening that in this day and age that people are prevented from praying anywhere, especially on the Temple Mount,” Hayman lamented.

Over the past decades, the threat of terrorism in the West has steadily grown. This growth has everything to do with the growth of Islam in our democratic societies. Politicians who refuse to see this reality are not just fooling themselves but also endangering the citizens. That is why today everyone is on the death list of Islam. We are all at risk now. And this is totally unacceptable. People have the right to live safely in their own towns and cities. That, too, is a basic human right.

In my opinion, it overrides the rights of the followers of Islam in our society to live according to their so-called religion. The West should not grant Islam the freedom to abolish the freedoms of the West. Sooner or later, even those politicians who still prefer to look away from the problems will be forced to face them. Meanwhile, however, we are losing precious time. And the present governing elite is entirely to blame for that. The more Islam it allows into our country, the less free we will become.
