Mental health watchdog group Citizens Commission on Human Rights is drawing attention to the concerning fact that more than a million kids younger than six in our nation are currently taking psychiatric drugs. While around half of these children are four to five years old, an incredible 274,804 of them are younger than a year old. That’s right: babies are being given psychiatric drugs. The number rises for toddlers aged two to three, with 370,778 kids in this category taking psychiatric drugs overall.

Data from IMS Health shows that the situation only gets worse as kids get older, with 4,130,340 kids aged 6 to 12 taking some type of psychiatric drug. Antidepressants and antipsychotics put forth some surprising figures, but the biggest category of psychotic drugs given to children appears to be anti-anxiety drugs. Just over 227,132 babies under one and nearly 248,000 of those aged four to five take these medications.

These numbers are even more shocking when you consider the fact that experts believe these estimates are far too low and the real numbers are actually much higher, due in part to the tendency for some doctors to hand out psychiatric medications for “off-label” uses. This risky practice entails giving out a drug to treat something that it is not indicated for, and the long-term effects of such an approach are completely unknown.

This fact has been completely obscured by US and other western media. For the most part, newspapers and television have simply ignored North Korea’s position. When they haven’t ignored it, they’ve usually mispresented it as its opposite – ie, claiming that North Korea is saying that it will never surrender its nuclear weapons under any circumstances. And on the rare occasions when North Korea’s statements are mentioned accurately, they’re never given the prominence they deserve.

It used to be that nearly everyone recognized transgenderism as being a mental disorder in need of therapy. But now it’s just another gender identity, thanks to a slew of shows that feature transgenders in a positive light. Researchers looked at how these shows shape the minds of their viewers, finding that the more people are exposed to transgenderism on the screen, the more they feel positively about it.

Take the USA Network series Royal Pains, which features a transgender teenager played by transgender activist Nicole Maines. Of the 488 regular viewers of the show who were interviewed as part of the study, 391 of them, or roughly 80 percent of them, say they felt a positive attitude towards transgender people and related policies, including the allowance of students to use whichever bathroom they see fit that matches their perceived gender.

As it turns out, the fictional storyline for Royal Pains was found to be more effective at making people accept transgenderism than the real-life transformation of Bruce Jenner into “Caitlyn,” which according to the research had no effect on people’s attitudes. Other fictional shows that feature transgenders, like Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, were found to have similar effects on viewers, brainwashing them into adopting a transgender-supportive attitude.

In some areas, residents were told to seek refuge on their rooftops and to wave sheets as flood waters rose. Meteorologists said it was threatening to be America’s worst flood disaster in history with as much as 50 inches of rain forecast to fall on a heavily populated area.

Houston, America’s fourth biggest city, was one of the worst affected areas with 25 inches of rain falling by yesterday morning. The mayor said authorities had received 2000 calls for help and that the city’s convention centre was opening for people flooded out of their homes.

Greg Postel, meteorologist and hurricane specialist for The Weather Channel, said heavy rain would continue through most of the week. “This could easily be one of the worst flooding disasters in US history,” he said. The strongest hurricane to hit the US in more than a decade barrelled ashore late on Friday night. It arrived as a category four storm – the second highest classification.

It uprooted trees, destroyed roofs and flipped parked cars as it moved inland. Even as the authorities cope with the unfolding disaster, longer term recovery efforts have begun. Brock Long, the head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema), said it would take years for the area to rebuild.

3. Conservative websites will be declared hate sites.

4. Trump will be blamed. McCain and McConnell will join the media and call for his removal.

The entire Antifa and NeoNazi protest issue is fake. Both sides are seeded to kick it off. It’s designed to strike the emotions of peaceful people and make them join a side, then attack the other side. The media are the paid cheerleaders who freely advertise the locations of the action.

Since then, Lutherans and Catholics have worshipped separately. But this year, throughout the country and the world, Catholics and Lutherans are coming together to mark the anniversary — with an emphasis on what they do, in fact, have in common. The Rev Bob Cochran, pastor at First Lutheran Church in Findlay, said “this has been a long journey” on the part of Lutherans and Catholics.

“We both believe that there is only one church” and it is “only through human failing” that we have created different denominations, Cochran said. And, as both denominations mark the 500th anniversary, they aren’t celebrating the split, but commemorating it, several local pastors said. “Luther never wanted to start a church,” Cochran said. Instead, he wanted to reform the Catholic church.

Butylhydroxytoleuene, an additive used to prolong shelf-life, is also an endocrine disruptor. The chemical can disrupt normal hormone production and incite unnatural changes in children. Unfortunately, this synthetic antioxidant is a favorite among food manufacturers for its uses in preservation. Popular cereal brands, such as Cheerios, Lucky Charms, and Cookie Crisps use butylhydroxytoleuene (listed as E321) as one of the main ingredients.

General Mills, the manufacturer behind these brands, has since pulled the additive from its production after health groups said E321 increased a person’s risk of liver damage as well as some forms of cancer. Even so, other food brands still use the chemical compound in their production line. Some brands use a similar synthetic additive, called E320. Supposedly, this is a “healthier” alternative and used in such products as Kelloggs Special K bars and Weight Watchers Double Chocolate Cereal Bar.

There is no evidence (yet) which associates E320 with any adverse health risk but people should still take note that these are entirely artificial compounds they are ingesting. The body is not meant to synthesize chemicals that could be used as an industrial cleaner. Moreover, these additives can, realistically, damage hormones and distort the brain-gut connection. This not only prompts obesity but contributes to unwanted disturbances in the body.

"We embarked today on a journey to right a terrible wrong," Dr Frank Wright, president and CEO at DJKM, said in a statement Tuesday. "Those who knowingly label Christian ministries as 'hate' groups, solely for subscribing to the historic Christian faith, are either woefully uninformed or willfully deceitful. In the case of the Southern Poverty Law Center, our lawsuit alleges the latter."

The SPLC has labeled DJKM an "anti-LGBT hate group" for its opposition to same-sex marriage and transgenderism. "These false and illegal characterizations have a chilling effect on the free exercise of religion and on religious free speech for all people of faith," Wright declared. "After having given the SPLC an opportunity to retract, we have undertaken this legal action, seeking a trial by a jury of our peers, to preserve our own rights under the law and to defend the religious free speech rights of all Americans," the DJKM president concluded.

The lawsuit explained why the "hate" labeling was so malicious. DJKM's vision statement runs as follows: "The corporation seeks to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the supremacy of His Lordship, and a biblically informed view of the world, using all available media, so that Jesus Christ would be known throughout all of the Earth and that everywhere He might be trusted, loved, and served."

"Nowhere in the purpose or action of the Ministry is there HATE or any room for HATE," the lawsuit explained. Even so, it was denied participation in the AmazonSmile program on the grounds of SPLC's libel.

The already 16-year war in that country – America’s longest – will now go on indefinitely longer. Ironically, Donald Trump likes to portray himself as an “alpha-male” who is his own boss. It is abundantly clear now that Trump is a mere manikin who sits in the White House taking orders from his generals. When Trump ousted Stephen Bannon, his staunchest ally in the White House, it was under the orders of the military figures who are now dominant in his administration. Trump’s chief of staff, former Marine General John Kelly, wanted Bannon out because of his contrarian views.

When Bannon gave a surprise interview last week contradicting the militarist policy on North Korea that was the last straw. Bannon said there was no military option in solving the North Korea standoff, which flew in the face of what the Pentagon has been advising Trump, with “all options on the table.” Only days later, he was kicked out.

“So I am happy to see you and the effort you’re leading on behalf of the [US] President [Donald Trump] with Jason [Greenblatt] and other members of your team,” the prime minister said. “I think this is a sign of the great alliance between us and the great goals that guide us.” Kushner told Netanyahu that Trump is “very committed” to help broker a peace deal and thanked the prime minister for working with the White House toward that goal.

“The president is very committed to achieving a solution here that will be able to bring prosperity and peace to all people in this area,” he said. “We really appreciate the commitment of the prime minister and his team to engaging very thoughtfully and and respectfully in the way that the president has asked him to do so.”
